And by that I mean, Volume 6 of Half a Demon Lord's Journey will be the last volume to be published for the series.

For those readers who have read the very first, unedited authors notes for the project, you would've remembered that I wrote a promise that HADLJ will have 'at least' 200 chapters.

It wasn't to excite you. It was actually a hard line drawn on the floor, for myself. A leash.

I set 200 chapters as the benchmark. If by this benchmark I don't hit my goals, I should quit.

Of course, it didn't reach even 1 percent of what I envisioned from this,

I tried. I'm sorry. I tried to keep the series alive. I had a hunch that this wouldn't work out from way back during the third volume; but I pressed on in spite of the gut feeling. I tried to keep my hopes up by making my website all fancy, creating discord to hear your voice, and even creating a book that I honestly wish could've at least reach its conclusion.

Because I didn't want to disappoint you.

But alas, the last pillar crumbled.

HADLJ was an amazing journey. It was both painful and fun to have worked on this project. I'm truly grateful to anyone who has stayed until the end. Sincerely.

Welp. With that in closing, I shall usher in a new project sometime in the future.

Lol. I haven't even decided what I'd do. But let's just hope it'll be better than what I have now kay'? I need some time to reflect. This series was started right after I failed my sixth series, <Cookie Cult>, so god forbid I mess up again hahahaaa–
