Dane cast a quick glance at Lady Bourgeois before turning his full attention onto the two opponents in front of him. The clean-cut man raised his short swords and readied his stance, buying time for the other guy to reach for a weapon, a bow, and a quiver full of arrows.
That guy was an archer?
What was an archer doing in this place?
The archer posed the most danger, so Dane needed to take him out first. An archer was a long-distance fighter, which made them tricky to deal with.
Dane also couldn't afford for any stray arrows since most of the captives had stayed in the room out of fear. He did a quick check of his mana pool but there wasn't enough left to do anything without seriously crippling him.
He really needed to find a way to increase one's mana capacity.
