"Is everything ready?" The High Priest asked.
Drassel smiled, not his usual snake-like one but a benign one. "Yes, sir."
The High Priest resisted the urge to shudder, the change in Drassel as he perfected his disguise, throwing him off.
The man's usually twisted snake-like expression was smoothed out and a benign smile was in place. His wily silver-green hair was styled back into a slick ponytail and he was dressed in professor garbs commonly found at Oakswood. This new look was truly unsettling to the High Priest who had known this sneaky, unruly bastard since he was a young boy that had been abandoned on the church's doorstep.
"Plans one and two are in motion," Drassel reported, his voice pleasing to the ears as it lost its sadistic edge. "As long as we keep the knight and the Headmaster off our trail, things should proceed smoothly and without fail."
