"GAH!" She shouted. And then she did it again, just for added oomf.
"Darling..." Phoenix sighed.
"Noo, don't 'darling' me! We're out of fire wood and candles and the snow is still outside!!"
Isabelle moaned dramatically as she sunk into a chair and buried her face in her hands, hiding her disgruntlement. "How long is it gonna be?!!?"
Phoenix shook his head fondly as he padded barefoot towards where she sat, arms wrapping around her shoulder before he dropped his chin down atop her head.
She didn't complain. He felt nice and warm, and the house was cold without all its cozy fires. This did not fix anything, and she was half tempted to shout again just to get the point across...

Lyov offered in apology from the bedroom, where he'd been putting Tenshi to sleep. The poor dear had drained himself melting snow, cutting tunnels through the blizzard wall outside.
