Chapter 1: Sold To The Vicious Alpha
Shayanne's eyes welled up with thick hot tears as she listened to her uncle's chat with his wife. Her uncle was going to sell her to someone, which the wife disputes.
"She's only 18, how could you have planned on selling your best friend's entire family? There should be another option," Lisa yelled at her husband.
"There is no other option; I tried to find another way out but couldn't. If any of my girls were the same age as hers, I would have chosen one of them; I also do not want to jeopardize our friendship," Seth lamented to his wife.
"You have already deceived him, putting his confidence, hope, and his daughter's future in your hands. You are not a good friend to humanity; you are the devil!" Lisa burst into tears, while Shayanne cried a thousand times more.
Her wife's uncle will undoubtedly want him to abandon his plans. Shayanne understood the family had been going through a difficult time recently. They lost a lot of property in the recent abrupt battle.
Seth has actually loved and cared for her as if she were his own daughter since she was seven, and she understands his anxieties about losing his family.
"You are not going to sell my beloved daughter; we will find a way out of this issue, Seth. I do not want Shayanne to leave us. I love her as if she was my own daughter," Lisha whispered in a low, calm voice. Seth stood up and sat beside her, pulling her body to his chest.
"I apologize, darling wife. I also adored Shay. She is also my daughter, and I never want her to suffer; nonetheless, the pack is disintegrating. As their Alpha, I should be able to do anything to keep them safe," Seth mumbled, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Shayanne left their door and walked to her siblings' room in sobs.

"Whoa! Sister Shayanne is finally here. How was the conversation with Daddy?" Little Danelle inquired, tugging Shayanne to the bed.
"It went well, Elle. At least, not bad" Shayanne replied, more like a whisper. Damon held her by the other arm, "So, what did he say about our request?"
"He promised to do something about it by tomorrow. Shayanne lied and smiled sweetly at him, "Thank you, sister Shayanne. But why are you so moody? Tell us what's wrong," The two kids asked.
They must have observed her melancholy expression after delivering the best news of her life.
"It's nothing. Let's sleep. Remember that it's nighttime. Don't be late for school," She warned, and they immediately complied. Damon lay next to her, making Danelle envious because that was her spot.
She attempted to sleep on her chest, but Damon grabbed her wrist, "She's tired, can't you see?" His eyes were filled with jealousy when he said this.
"It's none of your concern; all I know is that Sister Shayanne would never complain. So, back out, ladies are talking," Danielle said, rolling her eyes. Shayanne smiled quietly, pretending to be sleeping while hugging Danielle's little body to herself.

Shayanne was preparing the dining table when they heard a knock at the door. Normally, the house is always crowded during the day, but Shayanne could see her uncle's concern the moment he heard the noise.
"Shay, take your siblings to your room, no school for today" Seth declared, causing her eyes to widen in confusion, 'what's going on'? However, she does not want to appear to be an unruly offspring. So she gently nods her head in agreement.
She grasped Damon and Danielle's hands as they left the sitting room. Seth immediately proceeded to opened the door for his awaiting visitor, saying, "Good morning, Master. Welcome-"
"Save me the greetings, and go bring what you have in return," Grayson remarked, cutting him off abruptly. Lisa's gaze shifted to her spouse; had he already sold her out?
"Please, Alpha—I mean, Master, give us some time. I know you did an excellent job assisting me, I—"
"What is my first rule? Save your breath, unless you want to die" Grayson remarked, his eyes darkening, that he despises being referred to as a 'Alpha'.
It is in his first rule while delaying with him, he doesn't choose it alone, his wolf, Carl to be addressed as such, despite the fact that he is much above the title.
Seth's back was smashed against the wall with force in a matter of seconds, causing him to gush dark blood, "I'll ask you one last time, where's she?!" Grayson demanded, using his Alpha tone this time.
The aura he emits is extremely harmful; low-grade wolves and Omegas would die if they did not submit to him.
"Please do not hurt, Daddy. I'll come with you" A trembling voice was heard from behind, and the couples were astounded to find Shayanne pleading for their protection.
"I'll come with you; just let them go. Vent your rage on me," she adds. Grayson releases Seth, who falls to the floor, his gaze fixed on Shayanne.S
Shayanne'scountenance was blank, but the couples hoped she were a werewolf like them so they could apologize privately.
She smiled faintly at them and nodded her head, assuring them that she would be alright. Two guards rushed in and seized her arms, intending to drag her out of sight.
The two children appeared out of nowhere, crying directly in front of her.
"Sister Shayanne, please do not leave us. Please do not—- They both pleaded and rushed to hug her, "I'm not leaving you all, I'll be back soon I promise,"
The guards moved her away from the scene, and all of the children's attempts to collect her failed. Meanwhile, the couples remained dumbfounded, reflecting on their first encounter with Shayanne's parents, and how they had break the promise being made to them.
