Chapter 26

"Good morning Becca", I give my sister a peck as I enter her room.

"Good morning big brother." She stretches her arms and rubs her eyes.

I smile at her knowing she's about to explode.

"You know I don't like being disturbed when I'm sleeping." She stands up from the bed and begins to fold her blanket.

"What is it?".She questions me with a frown on her face and I notice dark circles around her eyes.

"Don't tell me you slept late again, you know the consequences it has on your health". I look at my sister and she pouts her lips obviously annoyed.

"Umm, I'm going to work and I would be grateful if you can keep Mildra company; please ensure she's safe." I tell my sister who now has a grin on her face.

"Alright, I will protect your little sweetheart; Your royal Majesty." She curtsies and burst into laughter and I join in.

"You always get me". I reply as I head towards the door for work

"But what about Nina?"; Becca continues and I turn to answer.

"Well, she said she'll be visiting a friend so I'm going with her."

"That's good, you know I don't see eye to eye with your girlfriend." My sister talks whiles shaking her head and I nod my head silently.

"Be sure to come home early. You know Mum becomes worried whenever you're late. "

"Yeah, I will try my best to leave the hospital early". I give her a hug and leave for work.
