Everybody Needs Friends

"For as long as I can remember, I've been able to see one to five minutes into the immediate future before something bad happened to someone near me," Nathan said tiredly. "I used to think it was nothing but constant déjà vu but it became harder to ignore as time went on and things kept happening. 

"I have no control over it but I have noticed that it only shows me things that I am personally capable of preventing. Usually, they're pretty small things, like how I'm able to stop you from hurting yourself right in the nick of time. It's because I've already seen it happen. 

"Years of experience knowing the visions only happen for preventable accidents is the only reason I jumped in at that Halloween carnival. I had to believe I could do something to help all the people that died in my vision.
