Klaus grinned and just then the crowd of citizens of City ran towards Klaus with worried faces

Klaus saw this and a plan came to his mind, Klaus immediatly activated his authority, this made Klaus's face pale and sweating

It gave a illusion of Klaus being extremely exhausted and injured as if he was in brink of death

The peoples saw this, the healers rushed faster with magic buffs, they immediately surrounded Klaus from all sides, the healer from young noble's party was also there with worried face

Rudy made his appearance along with two peoples who were cult members in disguise, Klaus was able to see through the evil aura they were trying to hide

As the voices sounded the crowd started gathering in front of Klaus trying to protect him, Rudy seeing the scene cursed in his mind

'Just why are you insects creating more troubles?!'

But he still maintained his calm face in outside and smiled like a fox "Are you guys doubting me here? I'm the Guildmaster here you know?"

The recent discovery of cult laboratory, cult base, illegal business and now sudden monster attack followed by dragon and absence of Rudy in all attacks

These all events led to broken trust of adventures towards the Rudy and City lord, all the adventurers surrounded Klaus

Klaus on the other hand continued his act and took Seraphim's shoulders to stood up and made grim face and said

"You don't have to worry, I'm safe here with adventurers! We have fought battle of life and death together so I belive in them!"

Klaus's words implied two answers, in simple language he was saying 'I'm more safe with adventurers, I would trust peoples who fought with me rather than someone who didn't even show up in crisis'

Klaus just praised adventurers while ridiculing Rudy who didn't show up even during monster attack

"You misunderstand me, I was busy finding artifact to protect the city, I was also busy requesting for back up and..."

Just as he was trying to explain himself he noticed the smirk Klaus had, as he saw that smirk he frowned

'So he already knows huh?'

"Sigh~ I'm done playing pig you damn insects, there is no use pretending now! Kill these insects and that annoying brat!!!"

Rudy guessed Klaus's thoughts and immediately his smiling face disappered and with face like he had already won

He ordered the cultists with creepy smile, as he said about 500 Cultists appeared out of thin air surrounding all the adventurer and gaurds present there

"So it really is true!?"

"This traitor bastard! He is cultist!!!"

"Son of a bitch, motherfuc*er!!!"

"I will be sure to kill this shit!"

"I bet you won't live long!"

The adventurers and gaurds cursed him, but this made the grin on Rudy's face more wider and he shouted

"What can you even do now? You think anyone can save you now? I will just kill all of you and say that you died by Cultists!

Only the winner writes the history, cause dead can't talk! Ehehehahahahahaha!!!!"

He laughed like a manic and with wave of his hand he ordered the cultists to kill all of them,

Right now all adventurers and gaurds were extremely exhausted after about 3 hours of continuous fight and mages were still low in mana

But they still stood in front of Klaus with resolve, they were ready to die for someone who didn't cared about his life when trying to protect them

Or so they thought, just as the Cultists rushed towards Klaus several heads of Cultists flew in air and screams sounded in atmosphere

"Kuh!"

"Aaaahhhh!"

"My hand! aaah my hand!"

"uueeeaaaaggghhhhh!!"

"My neck! It hurts!!!"

"I'm dieing! save meeeee!!!"

As the screens sounded several knights in white horse and white armours with blue cape covering their shoulders and back appered with a sigma of Saint on the cape

Klaus noticed another three cultist that were still alive coming towards adventurers with swords,

But just then a blonde guy came like white flash and the heads of three cultists dropped to ground

He looked backwards and glanced at Klaus, Klaus have him a small nod, his face immediatly brightened up and like cute pup he asked Klaus

"Are you okay? Sai... ahem adventurer that I met for first time!!"

'That idiot!'

Klaus and knights that just cursed in their minds but with Klaus's excellent act they avoided Klaus's identity getting exposed

"I'm still alive thanks to support of adventurers and you!"

Klaus tried his best trying to show pain in his face and act pitiful in front of adventurers, Klaus acted like was about to lose consciousness

The adventurers who saw this immediately came to Klaus's support

The blonde knight with green eyes saw this and immediately said with hint of worry in his voice "Take him inside the City, we will handle this!"

Like this Klaus was carried inside the City but before he left

""Hughes! Don't kill him right now, wait for few days, I will send my fairies to give you some more locations,

Destroy all of them, try to capture Cultists and after gaining information kill them immediately,

Wait for three days and keep him alive in name of investigation, I still have some scores to settle with him!""

Klaus ordered the Captain of Angel's Wing Holy Knight Order with telepathy and left with support of adventurers

'How the fuck is Holy Knight Order here!? They should be in Capital and that cape!? Isn't that the Order that works under the Saint?

Don't tell me he already predicted this? He knew about me from start, but how!?'

This time all these thoughts ran wild in the mind of Rudy who was making crazy faces and trying to deny reality and

Hughes on the another hand stood there silently and after a second he shouted

"Holy Knights! As Saint's orders let's kill these cult bastards!!!"

"Yeeeeaaaahhhhhh!!!"

With that the Holy Knight Order rushed towards the Cultists with smiling faces, the average of Cultists were only Tier 6 while even weakest of holy knight was Tier 6

Within an hour the massacre ended with overwhelming victory of Knights, now only Rudy remained there

"Why don't we talk, I was threatened by those Cultists! I wasn't thinking of doing such evil, please at least hear me out!?"

Rudy tried to reason but what he got was cold reply from Hughes

"Of course! We will be reasonable, Saint ordered us not to kill you but there was nothing about torchering! hehehe!"

And like that between loud laughter of Hughes the low screams of Rudy disappered like air
