Not happy

Olivia's POV

I hissed in relief when I realized he was talking about his dad's advances to me and wasn't aware of my trip to Rona's place.

“You should have told me, oli”.

I stared at him and noticed he was hurt by my action

“I never wanted to cause a rift between you and your dad "

“That's bullshit, you are not causing any rift between us, we already have a rift between us, we are just trying to patch things up “.he spoke coldly 

I stared at him and noticed how furious he was and how he was doing his best to control himself.

I hissed softly and move closer to him, resting my Head on his shoulder with my eyes closed

“Take it easy, maybe he was just playing around”. I spoke softly while running my fingers on his chest.

“You don't know my father oli, I knew he meant what he said “.he hissed softly and gently kissed my head before pulling me to himself.

“I'll have to have a word with him”.he said those words in a calm voice, but I knew it won't be just a word, something else will be involved.

“Don't do anything stupid”. I pleaded

“Don't worry about that, we won't get ourselves killed “.he chuckled softly and kissed my cheek

I hissed in relief and closed my eyes in thought

“Are you okay “. Derrick's voice brought me out from my thought

“Yeah, just a bit tired”. I murmured

“Then you should have some rest “.he moves me away from him and stood up from the couch 

“Go in and take some rest, I'll call you later by the day okay “.he pecks me on the lips and left the apartment.

I hissed in relief and walk to my room, I was about opening the door when I noticed Aunt standing in front of her room door staring at me with a questioning look, then I knew something was wrong.

“Hey Aunt”. I greeted nervously

She did not say a word rather she stares at me with folded arms 

“I'll go in “. I said those words and tried to open my room door when her voice stop me on track

“Wait right there young woman”.she ordered

I swallowed nervously while turning around to face her 

“Is everything okay “. I asked 

“No young woman, nothing is okay “.she spoke angrily 

“Are you having issues with Derick?” she asked while staring at me with a questioning look.

“No aunt, we are okay "

“That's a lie, and you know it “.she spoke angrily

“He came here looking for you and by his mood I knew he was angry, what did you do this time”. She asked angrily

“Nothing Aunt, we are fine “.

“You are lying oli, are you still seeing that deadly guy even when I asked you not to “.she asked angrily

“He is not deadly”. I did not know when that left my mouth

“Really “. Aunt asked in anger, 

“You are still seeing him after all my warning”. She shouted in anger, 

I kept quiet because I did not know what to say 

“Olivia what in God's name is wrong with you”. She asked in anger 

“You want to destroy your life "

“No aunt “. I murmured

She hissed in anger and angrily tap her feet on the floor

“Go to your room, I will deal with you later”.she stared at me with anger before going back to her room 

“Another problem”. I murmured to myself.

I got to my room and changed my clothes before picking up my phone and called Lizzy 

“You finally called “.she spoke up 

“Yeah, you told Derick his dad asked me out”.

“Yeah, I was worried about you and the way you acted in the hall got me scared, so I had to tell Derick what I Know. Am sorry”.she begged, 

I hissed softly before speaking up

“It's okay I know you were just looking out for me “. I assured her.

She hissed in relief before speaking up, 

“I knew Derrick's dad wasn't the reason you acted that way in school, there was something else “. She spoke confidently.

It Lizzy, I knew I could never hide something from her.

“It's Rona”. I murmured in pain.

“Rona”.she asked confused

“Yeah”

“What's the matter”.she asked with concerned

I took in a deep breath before speaking up

“Rona is injured “. I spoke softly

“What, how did it happen”.

“I don't know, I went to his house, and he doesn't want to see me “. I spoke in pain, 

“Seriously?”. I asked 

“Yeah, he told his men not to let me in even when I begged “. I sat on my bed and closed my eyes in pain

“Did you do anything to offend him “.she asked 

“No, I can't remember doing anything to make him act this way towards me “. I murmured in pain.

“This is bad, oli, this is really bad “.

“What do you mean”. I asked confused 

Lizzy keep quiet for a while before she spoke up, 

“I think Rona has finally let go of you “.she murmured softly.

“That's not possible”. I said those words in pain when I remembered Rita's words.

“You have to accept it Oli, he has finally let you free you should be happy, isn't it “.she asked with curiosity

“Happy, am not happy “. I whispered to myself.

Derrick's POV

I left Olivia's house and drove out, throughout the drive back home I kept on hitting the wheel in anger and frustration.

“How dare you, father, how dare you make such a move “. I spoke in anger.

Few hours ago, when I noticed Olivia wasn't in class, I became restless and kept calling her to find out why she wasn't in class because I knew Olivia was the serious type in studied.

After the class, I kept calling her, but she wasn't picking up, I left the class and went to look for her when a classmate of mine told me she saw her in finance class.

I rush to the class and realized I was late, but then I saw her with a dull and sad look on her face.

I tried asking her what was wrong, but the lecturer wouldn't let me, so I decided to wait until the class was over.

After the class, I went to her and asked what was wrong, but then she acted so pissed off and angry before walking out on me.

I hissed in frustration and sat on the chair, 

“Do you know what is wrong with her “. I asked Lizzy 

She stared at me but did not say a word, then I knew something was wrong 

I move the chair closer to Lizzy and stared at her 

“What is it you are hiding from me “. I asked in frustration. I was becoming worried and restless.

Lizzy hissed softly before speaking up, 

“It's your dad”.she whispered

“My dad”. I asked confused

“Yes”

“What did he do “. I asked angrily

She stared at me and hesitated for a while before speaking up 

“Your dad asked Olivia to be his girlfriend”.she whispered in fear.

I groaned in anger and stood up from the chair, 

“Please calm down, Derrick”. She begged, 

“Don't worry, I will be fine “. I walk out of the hall, 

I drove straight to Olivia's house and met her aunt home.

She saw my angry mood and thought I and Olivia was having a fight.

I tried to explain to her that I wasn't angry because of Olivia, but she wouldn't believe me.

I hissed in anger when I realized I was home and dad's private car was home.

I got down from my car and walk angrily to Dad's office.

I got to his office and open the door without knocking

“Son what the hell was that “.dad spoke in anger when I entered the room, 

I ignored his questions and pin a penknife on the table close to his hand.

“You are my problem”. I spoke angrily

He stared at me confused and speechless.

“How dare you dad, how dare you asked Olivia to be your girlfriend when you know she was mine”. I asked in anger before taking my knife from the table.

Dad hissed softly before getting up from his chair 

“I was just playing pranks with her “.he spoke coldly

“That's a lie dad, I know you “. I spoke angrily

“I know you are lying “.

He hissed softly and walk to his bar and poured out a drink for himself.

“You are my only child Derick I will never hurt you in such way “.he said this words like he meant it, but then he was my father and I can't believe whatever he says 

“Listen dad”. I spoke in anger, 

“I don't care if you were playing pranks, or you were serious .all I want is for you to stay away from her, don't come close to her and leave her the hell alone “. I spoke in anger while hitting my hand on the table, 

“Yes sir”.dad chuckled softly and took a sip of his drink, 

I stare at him in anger Before slamming the door and walk away.

I got to my room and angrily sat on my bed, I was boiling in anger and range, but I decided to keep calm

“I was fighting against Rona, and now it's my dad ". I groaned in anger and lay on my bed 

“I can't lose Olivia, not to Rona or to my Dad”I whispered to myself.
