“Happy” outing as family.

the sun shines brightly outside as the Lady prepares the food and desserts that she prepared for Lucas.

"Anne, please let the butler know that if the duke and Lucas are done talking, tell them to go downstairs to eat something that I've prepared."

"Yes madam."

I wish they would trust me even though I've been so rude to them. Well, the previous 'Lilith' I mean. I only thought about inviting Lucas but I might just die if I don't invite the duke himself. Its better to be sure than be dead.

"May I come in sire?"

"Yes."

The butler opened the door to the office.

"Madam wants to invite you two down for a mini picnic. She prepared various desserts and she made something by herself. Please remember to be careful sire. Especially when we're around madam."

"Are you sure she invited 'us'?"

"Yes sire.."

"Father. Do you think she'd poison us?"

"I don't know, if she is going to, she's stupider than a dog. If she isn't, yeah. That's very not like her. Even so, you are the only heir I have. Be careful."

He said coldly to his son, Lucas just smirked.

"Ha! That stupid woman thinks she can actually poison me? Yeah father, I think that's just dumb."

"Let's go down she must be waiting already."

Zeon stood up and took a quick glance at the window seeing Lilith being cheerful eating the desserts. He stared at her thinking that something is up. He couldn't get what it is but he definitely felt something weird. He then just shrugged the feeling off and sighed. He looked at Lucas and just nodded. He went downstairs and Lucas followed.

"When are they gonna finish? I've already been waiting 20 minutes for them. Sigh...if they still are talking I'm just gonna cancel this out—"

"You'll cancel our 'family' outing?"

I immediately stood up and bowed to the voice I just heard.

"You came duke. Lucas! Do you want to eat the dessert that I made? I would appreciate if you liked it!"

The duke got pissed that she only greeted him with a phrase and then changed the topic to Lucas.

Lucas glanced at his father and they exchanged looks since they thought that Lilith was too suspicious asking him to eat the food that she made.

"Lucas?"

"Yes mother. I want to eat it."

"Yay! Okay sit! You'll love this!"

"I think so too."

What? Why is he smirking? I-is this supposed to happen?

"How about me?"

"Oh duke you should try out my hand made dessert. It's fine if you don't want to..I dont want to force you to do so.."

With that said I just sat and then offered Lucas The Churros I've made.

"Here Lucas! Eat this. It's delicious."

Lucas hesitated a little then he took a bite out of it.

He got shocked at the flavor and enjoyed it. He looked up at Lilith.

"Woah! Mother! It's delicious!"

"Really? I'm happy you like it!"

Lucas haven't tasted anything like this before so he thought that it's really a poison. Lucas glanced at his father and nodded.

"Can I taste it?"

"What? O-oh! Yes duke!"

What the heck? So suddenly? Did he envy Lucas or something??

"Here duke."

The duke was about to eat it but suddenly said something unpleasant.

"Listen up 'Lilith' if you think we're that dumb to eat this stupid sh*t you made, you're wrong. If your going to poison us, make sure that it's not obvious."

What? P-poison? Ah...Ofcourse. Ha! It's because they don't trust me. But that doesn't mean I'm stupid.

"How dare you."

"What?"

"I said How dare you. Or do you want me to write it on a paper and slap it onto your face? Listen. Even though you don't trust me, doesn't mean I will do anything to harm you! Don't mistake my talent onto your stupid thinking! Your just f*cking anxious to what will happen to your stupid f*cking title!"

The duke was shocked and then suddenly glared at Lilith.

"Who do you think you are? I'm a duke. You should know your place with your ev-"

"Shut up! You think I want Lucas to die?! I might be evil in the past, but I'm trying my best to change here! Do you think I wanted this too?!"

What he said hurt me. Usually I wouldn't bother other people. But he is just different. I can't tolerate this. I'm just gonna leave.

"You can continue. Don't bother me anymore."

After I said that I couldn't help but speed walk my way inside and cried.
