I’m taking a break from being the villain!

Li Wei was a writer, and a good one at that. But he was a free spirit only writing when he wanted to hardly ever finishing the novels he wrote. His fans would go crazy begging him to finish them, but he would always say, ‘I just don’t want to.’ And there was nothing they could do. Li Wei wrote many novels in many genres but he was the best at writing horror and romance novels. These book were the ones that made his most die hard fans. One day after coming home to his luxurious apartment he realized that one of his fans/stalkers had broken in to his apartment. The next thing Li Wei knew he was sitting in a grand hall with architecture that looked similar to ancient China. Before him kneeling on the ground were several men begging for mercy. It was only later that he understood that he wasn’t in a dream and that he had instead transmigrated into the body of the Evil Senior brother of the Hero! And worse it was a villain from his own novel!AKA the BIG BOSS villain! And so begins the Li Wei lazy life as a soaring sword disciple that is, until the hero arrives. (Btw- cover doesn’t belong to me~)

8.) Scar man

"BANG!"

The door to his cell, which he could finally see thanks to the small amount of light coming from the candle rattled open. The man opening the cell door was dressed in some animal skins and had a animal tooth necklace him even surer off his guess that this place was somewhere under ground on Shi mountain. His face was kind of scary and he was frowning, complaining to himself about how he didn't want to be doing the dirty work himself.

Stumbling a bit as his body was still mostly numb, and he was lacking food and water he move forward, hands still locked in chains.

Li Wei struggled with the lack of strength his physical body had and made a promise that once he got back to the sect he would definitely work out. He was very handsome in his past life so to keep his looks in check he often went to the gym, enough to have a 6pack and brod shoulders.

Here he was like a bamboo stalk, which is good but bamboo stalks didn't have 6 packs so without his SP-spiritual power- he was very physically weak. After walking upwards for who knows how long they finally arrived at a door that led to a stone room then down another corddoir, but this time it seemed that the passageway they were taking was a secret one.

"Hey, where am i going?"

His voice was horse after whatever many hours he had been locked up. He wondered if the sect had noticed his disappearance by now.

"Tch, i'm just in charge of being you to the boss and her guests, don't know any more than that. Damn righteous cultivators." The rugged guard mutter, a large frown on his face.

When Li Wei and the man finally arrived at a door the man shoved him inside and left, not a word more.

Inside the room it was well lit with candles, and there was a smoke in the air that made his head mushy, and his empty stomach clench, most likely their was a drug in the smoke.

He swayed but in the end manged to stay upright. His body felt soft, like he was completely relaxed. There were carpets laid around the room there colors rich reds and blues lined with golden thread. Finally his eye site stoped at the odd table in the center of the room. Where a woman sat.

"Wow, to see the head deciple in such a state! I wonder if anyone would like to help?"

As soon as she said this a muffled groan came out from behind a hanging curtain and suddenly several bound up figures were pushed out, falling onto the floor.

They were the deciples that he had met at the sect entrance, the ones who had Xun Nuan, the protagonist with them. There were 5 in total, just like at the gate and all of them look like they had been through a fight.

He himself wasnt any better, maybe even worse, his long black hair laid loose over his shoulders disorderly and all he was dressed in were his under robes, which were a simple white robe and lose white pants, covered in black grime, dirt and blood. The saving grace for him though was the fact that he had put on his shoes right before fighting with the people in black, so he wasn't bare foot.

His eyes swept the room landing on the figure who had pushed the deciples out, it was a burley man which scars scattering his arms, sharp red eyes, wearing a thick fur belt with open shoulder sleeves.

He match the description of "the scar man" that he had been hearing about, now all that was needed was the main player.

The BOSS. The figure blurred by the smoke slowly cleared, a woman stood from the table dressed in black with gold accessories lining her body. His eyes opened wide, he was shocked so much that he accidentally OOCd from his usual cold appearance. The woman in front of him resembled his mother, but since he knew that his mother was dead that could only mean that this was the sister his mother used to talk about. The one he met while his mother was dying and how she refused to buy her medicine. Those memories weren't originally his but as he had lived here he had accepted his new identity pretty well, and viewed the family he had in this world as his own.

"Why, hello my dear nephew!"

Li Wei had to violently rain in his exploding temper so he didn't suddenly attack his aunt even in the shape he was in. His mother had talked about his sister having a good job at the capital, and sending money to them evey year at new years. She and his mother had a good relationship, at least he thought.

When he buried his mother he had met his aunt, and the only words she said had been,

"Well that's one less person to send money to, i'm glad i didn't give any medicine, no use in making more enemy's for a almost dead person anyway."

At that time he was taken away by the cultivators so he never got to say anything to her, ask her why she said such things.

"Hahah! Your face reminds me of her so much! Hahah! Well not that it matters since she's dead. Let's move our conversation to another place, come let's sit and have a cup of tea."

He face was oddly blank like there was no point in talking with him. His anger had completely cooled now. He just needed to focus on getting out of here with the deciples.

The Burly man behind her steped over and grabbed Li Weis shoulder forcefully leading him to a small table. Not touching the tea i front of him he finally coldly said three words,

"Let them go."

"Oh my, honey it seems you really do care about these Deciples, fine. Since you really care about them then i'll have them freed.... after we make our deal."

Li Wei narrows his eyes, his beautiful eyebrows twisting, he didn't like the directions this was going.

"I need something from you, and you need to get out of here with these deciples, so we make a deal."

"....."

Li Wei simply exhaled and continued to stare at his aunt. "..Fine let's make a deal."

"Then it's a deal! Great! Now Shi, please bring the tools over. I would rather finish this quickly, your face makes me sick."

"Let the other go, we have made a deal, i will give u what you want you let them go. They have no part in this."

Li Wei said his eyes scanning the other deciples body's for injuries. They seemed to want to say something to him but were unable to speak due to the gags in there mouths.

His focus back on the Deciples he now saw that they had all awakened, which ment they surly knew he was in the process of making a deal with there captor.

This certainly wouldn't be good. At this time Li Wei didn't know that he was cherished by the sect Deciples as much as there favorite idol, as they had always done it in silence. He had thought that this was going to be the start of his career as a villain.

While Li Wei was aware his reputation had rise a lot he didn't realize the extent. The Deciples began to struggle trying to talk through there gagged mouths. Li Wei tried to hide his shame in his appearance that probably looked like a beggar, and held up a shackled hand, motioning for them to stop. Unknowingly showing off his chafted and bloody wrists.

"Hahah, such good deciples nephew, why don't you lend me them?"

"The deal, i thought that you said you would let them go." His voice hardened, he wasn't feeling good being in this drugged up smoke.

"Oh, yes yes, but we must first start the process, then i will know that you won't be backing out!"

"...Fine"

Li Wei said through gritted teeth.

Li Wei was aware that his situation was bad with his spiritual powers blocked he could do very little, but that didn't mean he couldn't make a guess at what power his opponents had. They were both somewhere near the end stage of core foundation. Which was strong enough to beat him and these Deciples quite quickly.

The scar man returned holdings a shackled box, simply announcing that the artifact inside was incredibly strong. Whatever was inside had a strong sense of spiritual power.

"My my, would you look at that, so powerful! This is the spiritual power that will let us complete the contract, but it needs to be drawn on the users body. So, choose a place~"

Li Wei stiffened, if that amount of power in that box actually touched him while he was in a state where his own powers were locked he would surly suffer.

'Perhaps... this was when his got his tattoo, or should i say, marking?'

Li Wei had a sudden thought, trying to fight back the rising unease.

"Then, then it should be fine, for the content to be on....my, back?"

He hesitated for a moment but it still all felt unreal to Li Wei.

"Hahah, with your spiritual power blocked this will be very very painful, hmm i wonder what kind of face you will make! Perhaps you will die of blood lose?"

His aunts face was twisted in a odd smile.
