It's been a year and four months since then, and I've reached the 200th floor. I intentionally lost a few matches to make more money on the 190th floor.
Overall, I now have 600 million jenny. I can use Ren for 90 minutes and I have learned most of the advanced Nen techniques.
I learned Ken, the advanced form of the basic Ten and Ren techniques. It is a primarily defensive technique where a Nen user maintains a state of Ren for a prolonged amount of time. The amount of aura surrounding the user's body during Ken is approximately ten times greater than during Ten.
I learned In which is an advanced form of Zetsu used to render one's aura imperceptible, even to other Nen users, effectively concealing it.
I also learned Ko which is a combination of Ten, Zetsu, Ren, Hatsu, and Gyo where all of the user's aura is concentrated into one particular body part.
Now, I am 8 years old and I have been learning En, which in my opinion is the best Nen technique; I can extend it for only 3 meters and can last for about 2 minutes.
It's not much, but it's a good start.
Entering the 200th floor, someone attempts to initiate me into Nen. I use Ken in retaliation and scare him off.
I headed to the clerk to register for a fight, but along the way, a man bumped into me.
He had blond hair, blue eyes, and an average-looking face and body.
"Are you registered for a fight, kid?" said the man.
"Yes, what do you want?" I responded.
"You can fight me; I'm not that strong," the man replied.
I could clearly tell that he thought I was an easy win because of me being a newbie and my age.
"Sure, let's fight next month." I responded
We headed to the counter to register for the match.
After registering for the match, I returned to the room they had given me.
A month later
The announcer said, "On the right, we have Mike with three wins and one loss."
"On the left we have Gyro, a rookie with no battles under his belt yet."
"Ready, go!" the referee starts the match.
Quickly, Mike pulled out a dagger and tried to stab me with it, but before he could, I dodged the attack and hit him with a Ko.
He was sent backward and hit the floor.
The referee shouted "Critical Hit, Down!"
"3 points to Gryo!"
Quickly standing up, Mike cautiously walked towards me.
He attempted to slice me again and this time he was able to graze my skin.
He licked the blood off his knife, and then sent blades of air at me.
I could barely see the wind blades; they were barely visible.
It seems like he has to drink my blood in order to use his Nen ability.
His wind blades sliced into my skin; there wasn't much power behind them, but they were numerous and incredibly quick.
"Clean hit"
"3-1 to Gyro "
Quickly activating my En, I was able to sense the wind blades.
I could dodge the wind blades better, but they were still faster than me, and my En wasn't big enough.
"Clean hit."
"3-2…Gyro!"
Utilizing Gyo to see the wind blades more clearly, I was able to dodge most of the attacks, but some still managed to strike me.
I used my murderous Ren against Mike, causing him to freeze up.
That gave me a window to strike; I quickly approached him and hit him with my hellfire aura.
He screamed in pain as he fell to the floor.
"Critical Hit, Down!"
"6-2 Gyro"
He was able to compose himself much quicker than the last guy he fought, but it made no difference.
As Mike stood up, I hit him with another Ko attack.
Critical Strike!
Gyro 8-2.
'Wow, he's somehow still standing!
Mike used his wind blade once more to strike me.
Dodging them, I was slowly encroaching on his personal space.
As I got closer, he shot out dozens of wind blades.
Several struck me as I bled from my orifices.
"Critical Strike".
"Gyro 8-4"
Composing myself, I once again used my Ren, this time directing more of my murderous intent towards it.
Mike collapsed onto the floor out of fear.
Mike shouted, "I give up!" in fear
'I should have done this from the beginning, but I'm getting better at nen by fighting.'
"Mike surrenders, Gyro wins," the announcer's voice rang through the crowds ears.
"Fuck! I bet on that bastard Mike," someone from the crowd exclaimed.
"Who would have thought a child rookie would beat a veteran," another viewer said.
"Ha ha, I accidentally bet my money on the kid who was a 10x."
'I need a Nen ability.'
'One that will utilise my Hellfire aura to break an enemy's spirit'
