Chapter 14
“Right here,” he said, tapping the screen. “There was a bust of a warehouse Stimmy ran. Rowdy and Jasper picked him up. He wasn’t processed until several days later.”
“Is that normal?” Van inquired.
“Well, if one were to pick up a runner from, say, Florida, and had to travel to New York, that might take a few days, depending on the mode of travel. However, this was a grab in Cali, only several cities away from where he needed to be dropped. Just seems odd.” Hunter sat back, obviously deep in thought.
Van couldn’t help but be fascinated by this man. Hunter was the ultimate badass. He wanted to touch Hunter so bad, his heart threatened to pound out of his chest.
Walking behind Hunter, Van placed his hands on the man’s shoulders and started to massage the tense muscles. Working them and Hunter’s neck, he hoped to relieve some of Hunter’s anguish and stress, but he was also able to satisfy his craving to touch Hunter at the same time.
“Feels good, man. Fuck!”
