Chapter 36

When the people in the room saw the usb after Akira put it on the table they had 2 different expressions the heroes were curious and the association staff had an ugly look on their face.

McCoy stretched his hand out for it, but how can he contest against Akira's speed, he plugged it in a slot and it showed many documents and especially one that was zoomed in so it gained most of the attention, in it there was written the conditions Bofoi has placed for the rebuilding of the HQ.

After seeing the condition many had a displeased look, and intensely glared at the 2 people who were looking at it with a displeased look, McCoy and Sekingar didn't say anything and kept silent with a calm look as if it wasn't concerning them.

The heroes present started talking, "so this is what the hero association has come to" Bang said with a sigh, and other heroes were grumbling about how unreliable was the association, Akira coughed and made them quiet down.

"how can you compensate me, we wouldn't want a giant monster to attack the newly built HQ, now would we?" Akira said with a smile that was cold.

"are you threatening the association?" McCoy said with furrowed eyebrows, even the heroes who were displeased were shaking their head when they heard Akira's claim, they were annoyed but still humans needed the association as a symbol of peace.

"i'm not threatening, just saying as the great oracle just died we wouldn't know when the city will be attacked" Akira pushed even further.

Bang and Kamikaze said as they were the ones closer to Akira "Godspeed we can fix this, no need for violence" they said and looked at McCoy with a meaningful glance "isn't that right?".

Facing the intense glare of multiple heroes and seeing as the strongest hero here tornado was silent and not wanting to be dragged in this, he felt as if he lost the battle.

"let's compensate hero Godspeed as it is against our rules what we did" McCoy said and didn't even apologize.

Bang shook his head at the narrow headed executive, and the meeting ended with that.

Akira didn't mind as he kept his smile through the whole thing.

'revenge better served cold they say, but i prefer it warm' he thought as he glanced at the robot that was leaving as well.

he waited for a bit as they said that they need some time to make a commendable compensation.

Even though he stayed in the same place waiting in the eyes of Bofoi and the staff in the HQ, he was stopping time and tracking the robot that was going to its base in each time interval he would stop time and go to find it then record the place it was in.

After multiple time stops and pinpointing, he noticed that after the robot took many detours inside forests and went in circles multiple times, it finally stopped and disappeared, but he saw that it was going towards an opening near a river. when he saw that he smiled, and went back to his place.

After waiting for a while he stood up and went into a small room with a sofa on it and a woman was sweating a bit as she saw his enter but she still kept her smile, "well according to what is written here the association will give you a huge sum of money and a big plot of land" She said in a kind tone, but when she saw that Akira was frowning, she felt that something went wrong.

"so the association thinks this is enough to offend me" Akira smiled and snatched the document and signed it, and he put it on the table and went outside, 'that wasn't a better compensation so they probably just delayed it so that the robot can go safely to the hideout, they are still siding with Bofoi even after this' he smiled as he walked slowly.

He went to the river cave and stopped time, he looked around it but he saw that everything was normal there was no entrance whatsoever, "guess its time to use some brute force" he said as he grabbed the Op-Blade and swung it at the cave that the rocks in it turned into dust but there was no sound nor debris as the time was stopped, when he saw that there was thousands of robots and huge machinery in the underground he had an evil smile, "this isn't where Bofoi lives maybe it is just his warehouse, not that it was unexpected", he then looked around but didn't find anything other than a bit of alien tablets that had some symbols written on them, and it had multiple planets on of them was looking like the earth with some of those weird symbols near it.

"looks important, i'm kind of curious about this universe the development of humans here didn't reach space because of the fight for survival against the monsters, so i might as well collect this".

He collected all the tablets he saw he found that there was 6 of them and each contained 5 planets.

After that he went around but didn't find anything like that so he just thought for a bit and pulled his golden Deagle out and put it to max input, something he never tried, he then got back and aimed.

*BOOM*

There was a huge explosion and it only got quiet only after a minute of rumbling.

Akira was shocked when he looked at the area he shot he was totally pale faced, there was a huge hole, it was 30 meters wide and he couldn't see how deep it was.

He bowed to the ground as he felt that mother nature would be totally furious after this.

He then shook his head and restored the place to its past beautiful look, and he lowered the input a lot more only enough for him to remove the hideout from the face of the earth.

After that he just went back to his new house that came with the land given by the association.
