Humans, Gods, and Everything In Between

Dylan should've been the king of gods, Alexander should have been a merciless god of war, Skyler should've been the god of seas and storms. But Dylan was tired of being restrained by the others and regained his godly powers and his title as a chaos god. And the others need to stop him before it's too late. Justin should have said how he felt but now he wanders the old world searching for Chris. Jacob should have accepted the truth now he can’t accept lies. Alexander rejoins have fought back the first time, now he’s going in for any kill he can get. This is my first novel and I hope everyone enjoys it. It’s about people who just can’t die no matter how many times they’re killed. They also have powers like fire or metal, so they have been dubbed gods. They separated into factions long ago, the two main ones being order and chaos, and they were the most powerful of the factions. But they were always at war. Now the war has been brought to public and everything just gets really interesting. Read, enjoy, comment. Get to 7k views and 10 comments for me to continue writing.

The revolt part 1

Dylan first heard of the revolts in his study.

A short man with the beginnings of a beard ran into his quarters out of breath.

"What?" Dylan had asked bored. It had been a slow day with little progress on the northeastern front of expansion.

"Sir, your excellency, um, you highness. There have been some revolts lead by a minor god who claims to be a treasonous chaos god. He says he's the god of chaos itself and that he challenges you to a fight. He expects to have teams of five for the fight and it to take place in Rome. Specifically the colosseum." The man hurriedly said then seemed to slump down a little.

"Send a message and prepare the colosseum, I'll win this fight. No matter who he has on this team of his."

Justin received word of Dylan's acceptance of the challenge with three gunshots in the chest and a note tied to an arrow.

"Great, now we just need to find three gods who're stupid enough to follow me." He told Jacob.

"Well there is a small mass over there, I suppose you could find worthy candidates in it." Jacob pointed at a crowd of people.

"Alright."

"I am going to fight Dylan." Said a tall man in a cloak made from uniforms of Dylan's soldiers.

"Great, now we just need two more." Justin said.

"We volunteer!" Someone yelled. Two teenage boys come out of the crowd. One of them dragging the other, "We volunteer. And we were trained by none other than Skyler the storm goddess." Says the one being dragged.

"Alright, well in that case, we are all good."

In a small tent they waited for a transport to arrive.

"So, how did you work for Skyler?" Says the cloaked man, saying Skyler like he knew her.

"He does," Jacob interrupted whatever the boys were going to say.

"He does know Skyler, and he's the god of war." You two are the god of birds and the god of soldiers. You two want to get your friend back who is a demigod but will be the goddess of motherhood. And I am the god of truth." He finishes tapping his face next to his golden eye.

"Ok, best not to lie around him."

"Well now that we know all about each other, how bout names?" The god of war says.

"Justin."

"Garrett."

"I'm Alexander."

"Wyatt."

"Jacob."

The transport arrived.

The transport drove them to an airplane that flew them to Rome. From their they took another transport to the colosseum.
