Chapter 206: Triwizard Tournament

The young wizards in the audience had no complaints.

Arthur's perfect score was to be expected, and this was just a process to skip him from the exams.

But they were very envious that Arthur had basically started his vacation over a month early.

Even Professor McGonagall only raised an eyebrow and then let it go.

After the dinner ended, Arthur had just returned to the Headmaster's office when he sensed someone entering through the password.

It was Lupin, Snape, and Harry.

"Severus, is there something you want to tell me?"

Arthur said, imitating Dumbledore's tone.

"Professor, there's something...,"

Harry started, but Professor Snape glared at him, so he remained silent.

Harry told 'Dumbledore' everything quickly, eager to hear what he would say.

"Headmaster, so Sirius is innocent, and we've caught Peter. Can we get the Ministry of Magic to cancel Sirius's wanted status?"

Harry asked.

'Dumbledore' shook his head. "Harry, I'm aware of this situation, and I will find the right time to help Sirius prove his innocence, but not now."

Harry looked anxious, but he didn't dare argue with his headmaster, so he nodded to show that he understood.

"Severus, keep an eye on them. The Ministry of Magic will send people to the school in a few days, and I will speak to Minister Fudge then."

'Dumbledore' instructed. Snape nodded and left with Lupin and Harry.

Leaning back in his chair, Arthur planned to have Sirius and Peter confront each other in front of everyone at the Ministry of Magic before Buckbeak's execution.

This way, even if the Ministry of Magic didn't want to, they would have to admit their mistake.

Although doing this would surely offend Minister Fudge, Arthur didn't care at all.

What does it have to do with me, Arthur, if Dumbledore offends someone?

Suddenly, Arthur sensed someone entering again and couldn't help but feel speechless.

It was already so late, why were people still coming? Is the life of a Headmaster this difficult?

Professor McGonagall entered with a scroll of parchment in her hands.

"Albus, you've come back at just the right time. This is the schedule for the Triwizard Tournament sent by Beauxbatons and Durmstrang."

She said, handing the parchment to 'Albus'.

Professor McGonagall complained about how difficult it was to carry out her duties as Headmistress in Dumbledore's absence.

Things like the Triwizard Tournament were not something McGonagall could decide on her own.

These letters were sent over a week ago, and it was only today that Professor McGonagall had the chance to give them to 'Dumbledore'.

Well, although he was just a substitute.

Arthur quickly glanced over the parchment.

It was not much different from what was portrayed in the movies about his previous life. The dragon, the lake, and the maze.

You couldn't say it was boring, but you could only say it lacked any entertainment value.

Suddenly, a bold idea came to Arthur's mind.

"Minerva, is this all there is?"

'Albus' asked, raising the parchment in his hand.

Professor McGonagall didn't quite understand his meaning.

"What do you mean, Albus?"

"I think a whole year of the tournament with only three tasks is a bit boring."

'Albus' pretended to sigh.

"Boring?"

McGonagall was even more confused. This didn't sound like something Dumbledore would say.

"Cough, cough."

Arthur tried to cover it up.

"What I mean is only three tasks are not enough to show the student's abilities, especially the second and third tasks, where the audience can't see the contestants' performances. It's not right."

Professor McGonagall understood that there was some dissatisfaction with the content of the task.

"But, Albus, our budget is limited. If we change or add more tasks, we won't have enough funds,"

Professor McGonagall pointed out the critical issue—money.

'Albus' waved his hand confidently and said, "No problem, if we don't have enough money, we can ask Fudge for it. He won't mind supporting an event that showcases the strength of the English wizarding world."

"Also, we need to make some changes to these tasks,"

Arthur said, and with a wave of his hand, a quill and parchment flew to him, automatically writing something.

The quill was specially enchanted by Dumbledore.

When I used it to write, it automatically imitated Dumbledore's handwriting, so Arthur didn't have to worry about being found out.

After finishing writing on a sheet of parchment, Arthur handed it to Professor McGonagall.

"You go and send this to Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. Also, send another copy to Fudge. As for the rest, I will handle it."

After reading the parchment, Professor McGonagall looked at 'Albus' with astonishment.

"Can this really work? Fudge will definitely not agree."

'Albus', however, was unfazed and said, "Don't worry, he will agree. If he doesn't, I'll personally have a talk with him."

Professor McGonagall hesitated, but she didn't continue to fight.

"Alright, Albus, if you insist."

Once McGonagall left the office, Arthur couldn't help but burst into laughter.

The portraits on the wall also stopped pretending to be still.

"Boy, what did you write on that parchment just now?"

Phineas asked eagerly. Minerva McGonagall's reaction just now showed that what Arthur wrote must have been surprising.

Other portraits of the headmasters also perked up their ears, waiting for Arthur's answer.

"Oh, nothing much. I just added a few more tasks to the Triwizard Tournament and doubled the size of the final maze."

"Oh, and by the way, I'm planning to invite Ilvermorny School to participate in the Triwizard Tournament too."

Amadeus Dippet was shocked.

"The Triwizard Tournament has always been hosted by our three schools in rotation before the interruption. Can we still call it the Triwizard Tournament if you invite Ilvermorny?"

Arthur didn't care.

"It's not abnormal to have four schools in the Triwizard Tournament, right? Besides, it will be more lively with more participants, don't you think?"

All the Headmasters were stunned. They hadn't expected Arthur to make such a big move.

"Aren't you afraid that Albus will come back and hold you accountable?"

A headmaster from Ravenclaw was worried about the consequences of Arthur making such a big mess.

It wouldn't end well when Dumbledore returned.

"Don't worry, I will settle these matters before the Headmaster's return. By then, it will be too late to change anything, and even he won't be able to do anything about it,"

Arthur replied with a smile. However, with Dumbledore's face, it looked somewhat strange.

The other portraits had weird expressions.

This kid, he didn't hold back even when it came to tricking their own Headmaster.
