Jade vs Raven

As the tension in the room eased, I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. Raven's touch had a calming effect on me, and I was grateful for her presence.

"Are you okay?" Raven asked, her voice soft and concerned.

I nodded, offering her a weak smile. "Yeah, I'm okay now. Sorry about that," I said, feeling a little embarrassed by my outburst.

Raven smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry about it. It's not your fault," she said, giving my hand a reassuring squeeze.

I sighed, feeling a little guilty for losing control like that. "I just can't stand people like him," I muttered, shaking my head.

Raven nodded in understanding. "I know, but you can't let him get to you like that. He's not worth it," she said, her voice firm but gentle.

I knew she was right, but it was hard not to let Alexander's words affect me. I couldn't help but feel a little insecure about his insinuations.

"Thanks, Raven," I said, giving her hand a grateful squeeze.
