Chapter 40. The Plan

I thought we could conquer the South after three days, our plan was solid and I was confident enough not to tell her everything and to come home victorious. However, this sudden news of an event happening in their territory and the fact that we have been blackmailed to join them is highly suspicious. They are plotting to take Isabella too, that is the sole purpose behind the coated message inviting us over to celebrate the birthday of the Alpha of the South.
The gathering will be held a week from now which will be enough time to take the best action on how to get back and save her people.
I know Isabella is worried, I could feel it in my heart and it somehow affects me more than she ever knew. As much as possible, I would not like her to worry and I don't intend to relay the information to my father who's enjoying himself at the Alpha King's Palace.
