Chapter 41: This World is Really Interesting.

Kurama was stunned, not because of the question, but because... Shukaku called him by his name. For so many years, whenever they met, they would fight, and at some point, Shukaku started calling Kurama a stinky fox, and Kurama would call him something in return.

But now, he called him by his name again.

In a trance, Kurama's huge figure stood behind Naruto, facing Shukaku. There was no cell door, no seal, Kurama just stood behind, smiling at Naruto: "Shukaku, do you know who I thought of when I saw Naruto? Not the old man of the Six Paths, not Asura or Indra, but another person... someone who gave birth to the Ten-Tails."

Shukaku's eyes narrowed, looking seriously at Kurama.

"The Rabbit Goddess Otsutsuki Kaguya." Kurama smiled, "This name is very old, so old that no one but the nine of us knows it. But... neither you nor I can deny her existence, and now, the ninja world lacks someone like her."

"What do you want to do?" Shukaku, who had been silent for a long time, spoke. He quietly looked at Kurama, as if meeting this fighting fox for the first time.

Kurama's smile grew wider: "Shukaku, do you believe there are other worlds besides the ninja world?"

"What?" Shukaku didn't understand.

"It's okay if you don't understand." Kurama crouched down, slowly lying behind Naruto.

A cell door appeared out of thin air, standing between Naruto and Kurama. Darkness gradually swallowed Kurama's figure, leaving only a pair of red eyes staring at the outside world, and a wide grin with sharp teeth.

"But Shukaku, this world is very interesting, far more interesting than you can imagine."
