the attack pt. 3
the shadow of hayashi attacks me and without thinking i cut him in half, i just killed someone on my squad. i feel my hatred pouring out of me now and my prison jutsu activates, this time its bright red, only about a hundred shadows are in here.
"ito dont panic this is my ability, kill them as fast as you can" ito looks shocked at the change of location but obliges and we take the shadows out, as we kill them the shadows disappear leaving the corpse of the person that was being used as a puppet. i feel sick.
the prison jutsu vanishes and what should have drained my chakra seems to have doubled it, pure rage fuels me as the members of the army are killed all around me. i sprint through the hoards of shadows hacking them down as i go, im going to kill yori and moritomo. im going to avenge mayumi.
"ibuki!" i hear ito yell, he screams and i turn around just in time to see him get ripped limb from limb by shadows "kill them ibuki!" he shouts before having gis heart torn out and becoming a shadow. im the only one left in my squad, for all i know im the only one left in the army. chances are everyone else has been killed. i feel like their deaths are weighing me down, its my duty to end this, im the only one that can, i will kill as many people as i have to.
the shadows are quick but im faster, if they get too close i kill them. ill search the entire village for yori and moritomo if i have to. an explosion sends me flying back and i quickly activate my prison jutsu, its still bright red and i feel even stronger, i kill the shadows in the prison and it deactivates, by using the prison i was able to stop myself from crashing onto the ground and potentially breaking something. i have to find the source of the explosions.
"ibuki ive heard stories about you" standing in front of me is a man, his hands are smoking slightly, he must be the source of the explosions. i run at him and slash his chest, blood sprays on me, the man yells out in pain. he shoots out a ball of chakra at me, i cut it in half while its in the air and it explodes on both sides of me, my ears start ringing and i cant hear. he shoots another chakra blast at me and i raise my metal arm, the two forces make contact, i push against the blast and it explodes. my feet are dug into the ground due to bracing myself against the blast, i drag my sword through the dirt and swing it upwards, dirt gets in my enemies eyes, im at a disadvantage with my lack of hearing but i can turn this in my favor. i have an idea, i attach chakra in a thread to my swords handle and to my hand, i drop my sword and then flick my wrist, my sword zooms back to my hand.
i see the fire man say something but i cant hear him, i throw my sword at him and he dodges it, i rush towards him and punch him several times before he figures out my rhythm and matches it. he goes for a right hook but i grab his fist and with all of my strength i punch his forearm, i cant hear it but it snaps, his bone pokes out of the skin, i flick my wrist and step back, my sword bursts through his chest and into my hand, blood is everywhere, i can finally hear again and i can hear him screaming. i wish i had longer to make him suffer but i have to kill yori and moritomo. i slash his throat and with his useable arm he clutches it and falls to his knees. i raise the sword above my head and bring it swinging down, his head splits in half and his brain is visible.
"fuck you" im one step closer to taking my revenge. as soon as i see shadows take over the fire mans body i decapitate him, im not giving him any extra chances with life.
