USJ Arc Part 4

"All Might!"

"Hurray, we're saved!"

"All right, with All Might here we can definitely beat back all the villains."

A variety of cheers and praise toward the number one hero left everyone's mouths and Izuku's golden aura grew three sizes in an instant from the hope he felt seeing his favorite hero come to the rescue. Increasing his power and decreasing the time it would take to fully heal Thirteen from the original fifteen minutes to five.

"I'm glad to see you're all safe, I found young Lida on my way here and he told me everything. Is anyone injured, where is the warp villain, and Is Thirteen ok?" As much as All Might wanted to take time to reassure the students properly and get them to safety, he couldn't.

It was going to be a little while till backup got here since Lida still had reached the principal by foot so he was going to have to get a read on the situation fast and move accordingly if he wanted to save as many students as possible. The number one hero would have called for help with a cell phone but it was destroyed in a fight with a powerful mutant-type villain earlier in the day and he hadnt had a backup cell in his school locker.

The one to answer him was Shoji and he was short and concise in his answers. "None of us are injured. We defeated the warp villain but he escaped and Thirteen is fine right now. Midoriya is capable of healing so he's tending to his wounds."

'Healing?' All Might questioned in his mind. He believed Izuku's quirk to be some form of light manipulation but he was clearly wrong. He wanted to question the boy at that moment about his quirk but decided that the time and place weren't right. "Thank you, Shoji. Now kids, head back to the bus with Thirteen, I'll w-"

"AHHHHH"

All Might's orders were interrupted by an ear-piercing and agony-filled cry of pain that caused a few students like Mina and Sero to jump a bit. In a blur of movement and a pattering of feet, All Might and all the students were at the top of the staircase leading down into the inner sanctum of USJ looking for the source of the scream. Shoji, thanks to his quirk created multiple ears for him to be able to track sound, and then Izuku and All Might followed by the rest of the class, and what they saw had all of them wide-eyed in Terror.

Before the students and hero were Aizawa splayed out on the ground with blood and guts flowing out from his abdomen with a group of villains standing over him. The reactions of the students were different but each was a variation of soundless screaming horror, wobbling legs, a wide-eyed stare of disbelief, or all three together.

The only exceptions to this were All Might and Izuku. All Might because as a pro hero with experience with these kinds of things and thus was only stunned at seeing his co-worker down and likely dead and Izuku because he was too busy charging the strongest blast he could muster on short notice to be idle. Anger flooded his veins at what the villains had done to his teacher. So much anger that he wasn't going to hold back his attack even if it ended up killing the villain. Consequences be dammed.

In a fraction of a second both the palms of his hands lit up like a lightbulb, in another fraction he calculated the trajectory needed to hit the villain with his attack. By the time anyone realized something was happening with Izuku he had already taken a step in front of the class and fired his attack at the mechanical villain standing over his homeroom teacher.

The sudden brightness and the wind from the attack caused both Izuku's classmates and his favorite hero to shield their eyes in the ear at being blinded by the energy attack radiance. Like a storm, what followed the flash was a faraway thundering boom before the light returned to normal levels. When everyone opened their eyes and saw the destruction of Izuku's powers had wrought they were speechless.

On the other side of USJ, there was a crater of molten rock nearly twice as big as Izuku's attack. Nearby trees and grass had caught aflame from the air-distorting heat and the nearby metal on the wall of the facilities was flowing like molten slag.

Upon seeing the results of his attack All Might first thought was that his Izuku had hit Aizawa with that attack along with the villain standing over him, but a quick check of the spot revealed that his green-haired student's attack had missed his homeroom teacher by a hairs breaths. Causing him to briefly wonder whether it was the boy's luck or finesse that aided in Aizawa being unharmed by his attack. Though the fact that Aizawa hadn't so much as twitched at being near so dangerous an attack made All Might consider that his senior teacher was either not long for this world or had already passed.

His second thought was that Izuku had likely just killed someone with that attack. Very few people on both the hero and villain sides could survive an attack that would bring down most buildings and Izuku needed to be disciplined for this reckless use of his power before he would endanger or end someone else's life. However, All Might knew the time for reproach was not now. At this moment in time, the important thing now was getting the students out of USJ into safety.

All Might had a feeling that he would need to go all out for this and he couldn't do that with the kids the way. No villains ballsy enough to attack USJ were going to do it without having some sort of plan to get away or beat the heroes that worked here and they had to have known he was working here since he announced his joining the staff publicly.

All Might turned toward the still-stunned students and addressed the in a stern tone of voice. "What are you all still doing here? Get to the bus and wait for help."

The students jumped out of their stunned states at the sound of his voice and with a chorus "yes sir".

Seeing that everyone was no longer dazed, the symbol of peace left to students to evacuate themselves and blurred away at high speed to take care of the remaining villains. The second All Might vanished everyone but Izuku turned around to head to the facility's entrance. He wanted to confirm something.

Focusing his gaze on Aizawa Izuku chanted, "[Identify: Status]," under his breath and a blue screen only visible to him appeared with the information that left him wide-eyed and determined.

Ochaco who noticed Izuku hadn't wasn't running with the group to the exit turned her attention from the door and jogged back to Izuku who hadnt moved from the steps he launched his attack from. She pondered why he hadnt moved until she saw the look in his eyes and knew instantly that her friend wanted to go down there.

"Izuku don't," Ocahco's voice contained a hint of worry in them. She knew Izuku was strong. His defeat of the warp villain and his earlier attack laid any notions of his strength being insufficient in protecting himself to rest.

The reason Ochaco didn't want him to go had nothing to do with the villains down below or a worry for his safety but because if he went he was risking repercussions from the school itself. Izuku had saved them from the warp villain and healed Thirteen but he had also blasted someone into oblivion and was going to disobey their teacher to fight villains where he would most likely blast more people.

Figuring Ochaco had guessed what his thoughts were like she usually did, Izuku didn't bother asking what she meant and decided to speak as if his intentions were already clear. "I have to, I can..."

"All Might will be fine Izuku," Ochaco cut him off with a bit of exasperation in her voice. She idly looked over to the battle on the ground floor and saw the mentioned hero pinballing from villain to villain and knocking each out in a single blow. "He's the strongest hero in the world. Besides you still need to finish healing Thirteen and as the class rep you have to ensure the class is safe."

Izuku shook his head at her words which caused. It seemed her ability to guess his thoughts wasn't as accurate as he previously thought so he decided to explain himself. "Thirteen is stable for now, even without further healing he should last until help arrives, and I wasn't referring to All Might just now." Izuku pointed a finger at the spot where their homeroom teacher was laying down in a pool of his own blood and guts. "Mr. Aizawa is still alive and I can save him. That's why I'm going."

Without waiting for her response Izuku lept into the air and summoned a disk of light to ride on toward his downed teacher. Ochaco could only stare at him in muted frustration, worry, and shock as she watched him throw himself into danger that was able to hurt a pro like their teacher but couldn't and wouldn't do anything to stop him. She had been saved by the same selflessness of Izuku and wasn't going to deny someone else of the same hero who had saved her.

Ochaco truly wanted to go down there and help him and their teacher but her quirk, while having great utility value didn't have much combat potential. Without the complete gear that came with her costume. So she turned around to make her way to the exit of USJ where she saw her classmates waiting near the exit with Thirteen's unconscious form.

Then one of the strangest appeared in front. A blue rectangular screen with a question.

Back with Izuku, he had arrived from the air near Aizawa and the first thing he noticed was the strong coppery smell of blood. With how strong Izuku's senses had become, he could almost taste it in the air but it didn't bother him.

When Izuku first saw Aizawa in this state he was scared. Scared that his teacher was dead when he could have done something to save him and scared that he would be useless to help Aizawa because of previous mental trauma. Both fears were proven unfounded when he saw Mr. Aizawa alive and his only reaction to seeing the gruesome outcome of his teacher's solo fight against tens of villains was anger. No flashes of a gruesome death his sister never suffered, or hyperventilating or excessive sweating. Just pure anger all directed at the villains who caused this.

Realizing that time was of the essence, Izuku stopped staring and got to work healing his teacher. With a flash of his golden power, Izuku removed the blood he had dripping from the palm of his hands -he had gripped his fist hard enough to draw blood without noticing- along with the bacteria on them. With a deep breath in and out, he moved Aizawa from his curled-up sideways position to lying flat on the ground and started carefully picking up the organs of his teacher off the ground, cleaning them with his power, and placing them back in their owner's body, All while using his power to heal Aizawa as means of life support slowly.

When all the missing organs were paced properly back into Aizawa's body, Izuku put his healing on full blast. Blood stopped flowing out from Aizawa's body completely as blood vessels, muscle fibers, skin, and more started regenerating.

"[Identify: Status]," Izuku chanted to get a more numerical view of how his teacher was doing.

"Pew," Izuku breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Aizawa's condition. His teacher's vitals looked terrible but it was slightly better compared to the one he saw with his first status identification.

*BOOM* *FWOOSH*

The relief was taken right out of Izuku as he saw in slow motion All Might being sent flying right over him followed by gale force winds that Izuku needed to shield himself and Aizawa from with his power lest they got blown over.

All Might's impact with the ground was earth-shaking, kicking up dust and concrete and sending them flying in every direction. Despite knowing All Might would be fine from that level of attack Izuku felt a bit of fear at seeing the world's strongest hero being sent flying. So he quickly packed up Aizawa in a box not too dissimilar to a coffin and ran to All Might who was just getting up with a dazed look on his face.

"So the purple one has the warping quirk," All Might said while rubbing his jaw and getting to his feet. "Now I know what it feels like to take a punch from me."

"All Might are you ok?" Izuku asked in worry as he came to a sliding stop near the number one hero.

All Might's eyes widened in panic as he looked up and saw Izuku next to him. "Young Midoriya, what are you doing here? Never mind that, hurry up and get back to the class. I have the situation handled, they only managed to get a lucky blow on me."

Izuku realized that All Might probably thought he was here to fight and decided to explain himself. "I'm not here to help, eh well I am, but only Mr. Aizawa. He was still alive and would die from his injuries if I wasn't healing him."

All Might felt like a weight was lifted off his chest at the news of Aizawa. He looked at the glowing casket-looking construct floating idly near Izuku -figured it was Aizawa in there- and breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you Young Midoriya for saving Aizawa but it's still dangerous for you to be here. Please take him and evacuate with your fellow students. I have the situation under control."

To reassure the boy All Might flashed his signature smile which seemed to do the trick because, in the next moment, Izuku's face went from worried to calm. With a nod and a small flash of light, Izuku made another disk to fly away on. "Ok All Might, I'll get going."

That was the plan until both professional and student heroes heard splashing of water and desperate screams of their names.

"All Mights! Midoriya! HEEEEEELP!" Mineta's cry or help voice rang out through USJ.

Both focused on the sounds and traced them back to a large lake near the Shigaraki and the Warp villain. On the lake were a sinking ship and a plethora of aquatic-themed villains chasing a powered-up Sato who was swimming like a motorboat toward shore while Mineta, who was mounted on his back, screamed for help while throwing the purple balls of his quirk back toward the gaining villains. Both Izku and All Might also caught sight of Asui popping in and out of the water to tackle or tongue-lash any villains that got too close to the two boys while at the same time avoiding attacks from villains focused on her.

Izuku's and All Might's reactions were Immediate, without saying a word to the other, they both blurred toward the lake with the intent of rescuing the trio of students. All Might was faster than Izuku so he took the lead easily. Seeing All Might's intent Shigarki decided to use this opportunity to buy enough time for Revenant to either recover from the attack or respawn. Neither of which should take long but when All Might could defeat them in an instant if he stopped holding back every second counted. "Kurogiri, stop them!"

"Yes Tomura," the warp Nomu confirmed and immediately created the warp cortex he pulled off on the class earlier around the two blurred forms.

All Might stopped running for a second, not wanting to act recklessly after experiencing the villain's warping capabilities firsthand. Izuku however, doesn't stop and continues running knowing that it takes a few seconds for the villain to warp so big a space and breaks through the warp mist only to come face first with a portal.

Unable to break his forward momentum in time to avoid being warped, Izuku thought quickly and made a wall in between himself and the portal and used it as a makeshift springboard to propel himself into the air. When Izuku reached the apex of his jump, he made another disk to fly on just as All Might decided to throw caution to the wind and let loose an attack.

"TEXAS SMASH!"

The warp around All Might was completely blown away and Kurogiri was staggered by the immense air pressure of the attack. Seeing an opportunity to rescue his classmates Izuku didn't hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity and went all out to get to them as fast as possible.

After using [Reinforcement] on his body, Izuku took a second to angle the disk and crouch before rocketing off like a fallen meteor to the lake. The boom from Izuku's impact on the water was like artillery, shaking the lake as if an earthquake had hit and sent a huge spire of water up into the air.

"Shit, what the fuck was that, an attack?" A fish-like villain with snorkels questioned as he looked around in panic. Water was falling from the sky like it was raining so it was hard to see what had happened.

"Maybe it was All Might, Shigaraki did say he was going to be here," A shark a villain with scuba gear said as he looked around to find the cause of the explosion to little success. "Regardless of who it was, we should dive. Guys like us would die if we got hit with that directly." Then the shark villain dove underwater to try and avoid taking any more direct attacks like that.

"Yeah good point," the fish-like villain said and followed his peer's lead. Many other villains followed suit with the two but if they had waited just another second for the rain to disappear they would have noticed the whirlpool forming near them and possibly escaped. But as it stood they would all soon be sucked into the whorl pool and stuck together from the sticky balls Mineta had been throwing from Sato's back.

While the whirlpool was in its starting stages Izuku had already taken to the air from the bottom of the pond and located his classmates. With a minor exertion of his power, he wrapped Sato, Mineta, and Asui in bubbles of light and lifted them up to his location in the air.

All three classmates looked wet and ragged, Sato was breathing hard from swimming at full speed for so long, and his quirks after effects were starting to come in, Mineta was also breathing hard -likely from screaming so much- and was leaking an unhealthy amount of blood from his scalp. Asui seemed to have it the roughest, her hero uniform was littered with slashes and tears, and on top of that, her body was littered with bruises and cuts from tangoing with so many villains at once.

Once again, Izuku was filled with uncharacteristic anger at the sight of the state of his classmates. 'At least, I could save them this time,' Izuku thought as he began healing them.

"Good work young Midoriya!" The booming voice of All Might carried over the sound of crashing waves and screaming villains Izuku below Izuku. Izuku turned to see All Might dodging multiple high-pressure water streams coming from Kurogiri's portals. "Now get them to safety, I'll handle the rest!" The number one hero finished his words by punching another air blast toward Kurogiri who countered by opening another stream of water right in front of it but the water was split by All Might's attack and hit Kurogri anyways sending the warp nomu flying. Kurogiri Retaliated by making even more portals with high-pressured water to keep All Might on the back foot which worked if barely.

Izuku nodded to his favorite hero and proceeded to fly all the way to the exit with his classmates and teachers. Kurogiri didn't try and stop him, too busy fending off All Might and protecting Shigaraki until Revenant could once again take the field. When Izuku made it to the exit he met more people than he was expecting, all the missing members of class 1-A were there with exception of himself and the students and teacher he was carrying, and at the head of them were Bakugo and Ochaco who were talking until Bakugo noticed his approach and turned to toward him.

When Katsuki realized it was Izuku, he Immediately smirked and started showing more emotion at the moment than Izuku had seen him do in years. "I knew you'd make it back alright and you got Sato and the rest. Round face over here kept saying we should go back for you." Ochaco sputtered in indignation at the nickname but Katsuki carried on as if he didn't know. "I knew you'd be fine. You've gotten so much stronger after all."

Izuku, taken aback by the sudden show of friendliness from his childhood friend jumbled up his response. "Um...yeah, thanks?"

A little noise came from Bakugo's mouth that sounded like a chuckle if you stretched the meaning of the word to encompass grunts. "Sorry if I'm acting weird, it's just..." Bakugo suddenly stepped forward and gave Izuku a brotherly hug. "I'm glad we didn't lose anyone this time."

Tears welled in Izuku's eyes as Katsuki's words registered to him, and when the meaning was fully understood he returned the hug, "Yeah, me too." Everyone had made it, he didn't lose anyone again.
