The Case Finally Ended

After resting for the next few hours, I got up from my bed and go on to take a shower while also bringing some clothes in the guest shower room. After I finish, I proceeded to dress myself up before going out. Returning back to my room, I see Layla is sitting on the chair with some food on top of the table beside her.

"AH- Shin come here! I came here to bring you some food to eat!" She said with a big smile

"Isn't there a butler who always bring in food for me?"

"So... You don't like me coming here to bring you food? Fine..." then she lower her head showing that she was disappointed by my answer

"N-no! That's not what I meant! I appreciate that you bring my food, but i don't want to trouble you for helping me.. I mean you're a princess after all right?"

"Oh- that's okay, i mean even though i'm a princess, i don't mind helping people who are lower rank than me..."

"Is that so, then thanks for bringing me my food, Your Highness" i said jokingly to her, making her blush a little bit

"S-stop that! H-hgm anyway come sit here and eat"

"Understood Your Majesty" i said, making her blush a little once again

"H-hey i said stop..."

Laughing a little after seeing her reactions, i went on to sit on the extra chair next to her and eat the food that was prepared for me, talking a little while eating and joking around. After i've finish eating, she then said to me

"Shin, tomorrow we will go to the queen place, so prepare yourself alright? There's also her personal guard and the kingdom judge that will be at there present with us too" she said while looking down at the floor, seemingly nervous for something

"H-hey i'm the one who should be nervous and scared right now you know? Don't worry about it, anyway let's clean up the table and go to the library together shall we?" I said patting her shoulder

"Ye-yeah you right, alright let's clean up the table and i'll go with you to the library. Maybe we can chat more together and read some book to relief some stress right?"

"Yeahh! That's the princess i know" i said cheering her up then cleaning up the table.

After cleaning the table, we then walk out of the room and head towards the library, while we're walking down the hallway, I can hear people working there gossiping about me but i can't hear it clearly, but one thing for sure is that they're talking about me since they keep on pointing at me and looking at me.

Arriving at the library, we then enter it and took some books to read, then sat down on a unoccupied table.

Sitting there, we're chatting alot while at that also reading some book, you might see this as some nerdy things to do, but what should you do more in this world? There is no advance technology like the previous world I used to be on. So reading book is the only thing i could do for now.

Awhile later, we've finish chatting with each other and saying our goodbyes to each other. While going back to my room, i was stopped by some girl who seems to be older than Layla or the maid, she stopped me by calling out my name.

She was a elf, a tall elf seems to be around 170cm, with a red crimson like eyes, a long white straight hair down to her chest , a slim curvy body and a breast which is bigger than Layla but smaller than Layla's mother. She then speak to me

"Let me introduce myself, My name is Malissa the first princess of the Tisteveil Kingdom and the older sister of Princess Layla" she said to me which made me surprised, quickly i bow down my head to show my respect

"Nice to meet you princess, what does the first princess want from a commoner like me?" I reply to her. I called myself a commoner since that was the only rank i could've think of myself.

"Raise your head, i've come here to see the heroic human who save many civilians of mine and also the one who's my younger sister Layla has a crush on"

"E-excuse me? May you repeat that for a second once again?" Said by me with a confuse face

"The one who's my little sister has a crush on" She say with a smirk

'Whaaaaaaaat?!' I scream in my mind but i kept on having normal face right now.

"R-right is that the only reason you wish to meet me princess?"

"Hmmm you seems to not be surprised by the statement i've just told you"

'OF COURSE I WAS SURPRISED IT'S JUST I COULD HOLD MYSELF FROM BEING SURPRISED' i said in my mind once more

"N-no it was indeed a surprise for me, but i would rather not show it"

"Hoho~ i get why she likes you for a reason~ anyway i gotta go now, so goodluck tommorow Shin" she said then waving goodbye to me before walking the opposite way from me

"What the hell..." I said trying to process what just happen in this few minute of talking.

Reaching the door to my room, i then go to my bed and lay myself face first, trying to process all the things that happened today before going to sleep. Waking up, i see that the window of my room was not closed and it was already the next day. After getting up from my bed, i go on to do my daily task (shower, eating, etc.) After that i sit on my room chair, then someone comes knocking on my door which i go to open it, it was a soldier

"I've comes here to inform you that the Queen would like to meet you, please follow me" he said to me but I don't say anything and just nodded at him.

Following him walking down the hallway for quite a while, we finally arrive at the giant door that i've seen before. Ready to enter the place, the soldier who was with me suddenly opens the door, and he then speak up

"Enter" which i just simply nod and go inside, after entering the place, the soldier close the door behind me and i turned my head to the front, i see the Queen and four other people standing next to her which is Layla, Malissa, A women who wears a armor with a giant sword behind her which i would guess was the queen personal guard and a guy who has a book on his hand and wearing a white robe.

Then i kneel down like before and the queen speak up "Raise yourself" which i quickly do. Then the man in the white robe speak "Your Highness we should let him out of the kingdom! He is a threat to us! Even if he save some civilians, his identity is still unknown to us!" Then the woman with a giant sword, shouted "SILENCE, does the queen ask you to speak up?" Which made him shut up

"Right, we will start the the discussion about you Shin" the woman with a giant sword speak, pointing her finger toward me.

"Then please the judge say everything starting from the beginning" the woman once again speak

"Alright, from what we gathered, 13 days ago, Shin who suddenly appear at the forest behind the Palace said that he doesn't remember anything, from what he said, he suddenly appear at the forest and told his name was Shin to the princess, then the princess brought him to the queen and he explains that he forgot everything but he didn't tell the princess that he had memory lost, after 3 days, Shin went outside and at that time princess Layla was also going outside to the same place where Shin wanted to go, after that they went to a popular cafe in the capital and had a drink there, then for some reason there is a Cultist who comes there massacring people around the street and then break the door of the cafe, which then he used magic" said the judge to the queen

"Why didn't he tell the princess or you the queen about knowing anything about using magic? Isn't that suspicious? And his identity was not recorded anywhere in this world, please give us your thoughts Your Majesty." said the judge.

"Wa-wait! Shin says that he just learned the magic when he know that he had mana inside of him, so he got curious about it and start to learn about magic.." Said Layla defending me

"That's Impossible! Even the third son who's the genius of Mashivis in the human empire is only able to learn 1st rank magic after 2 weeks and yet you tell me that he learned it in 3 days?" Said the guard to Layla

"B-b-but..."

The debate keeps on going and going within Layla and The Judge but yet the other three was not talking and only heard the opinion of Layla and the judge.

"SILENCE" the queen spoke up releasing an overwhelming aura that made both of them quiet and made me kneel Infront of her from the pressuring aura.

Then the Queen guard speak up "From me and the Queen observation between the word of Emanuel the judge and Princess Layla, i will stand by what the Queen has told me. That Shin was not in fact a spy or a enemy to the Kingdom and he was found innocent" hearing those word comes from the Guard (Queen personal guard) made me shock since out of nowhere i was proven innocent.

"B-but! Your Highness are you sure!" Said the judge

"Do you want to judge the word of Her Majesty?" Said by the guard while staring at him with killing intent.

"N-no" said the judge and then look down at the floor in fear.

"Now, that shall conclude this meeting, Shin will not be suspected as a spy or having any kind of connection towards any Human Kingdom making him stay in Tisteveil Kingdom anytime under my name, also he will be rewarded because of his heroic act back then , now all of you are dismissed, But as for Shin.. Stay here for I wish to talk with you" said the Queen to all of us, which they just simply nodded, but it was a huge relief that i was found innocent. Also before Layla goes out she looked at me with a smile and a thumbs up. After everyone is out, the queen spoke up "Stand up" which i do of course

"You seem to be quite close with my daughter, do you perhaps have a crush on Layla?" Said the Queen with a cold face

"N-no i will not dare to even have a crush on a princess your Majesty"

"HAHAHAHA" the queen suddenly laugh, and here i was dumbfounded wondering what's funny

"Hgm-m anyway back to the serious topic, Shin i will not able to provide you any home, food and clothes anymore because the case has been finish, and your information was not recorded in this world. You may found it weird that i was being nice to you, but if it was not for my daughter request, i would've not hesistate to execute you before, anyway your reward for saving my people, I've decided to give you a small land to live in and of course once a week we will provided you with clothes, foods and all the important stuff, but this is the only thing i can help you with, since your act was brave but the enemy you caught was not strong or important enough to receive greater reward. This also was because out of pity, the cultist you caught can easily be caught by a 2nd rank magician or swordman"

"That alone is enough my queen" i bow down my head showing my thanks to her

"That's alright raise your head, also you will stay here for a month before your house is finish in the new land, and don't be thankful to me, be thankful to Layla because the one you captured was not even worth enough to have a small land" hearing what the Queen said, i was shocked once again because how nice Layla has been towards me

"Now leave" said again by the Queen

"Understood, farewell your Majesty" i say replying to her sudden order for me leaving out.....
