Abnormal yet normal
This time, James was the first to wake up. He looked at the girl sleeping in his arms and smiled faintly. It was kind of weird that they were cuddling, but it was something they had done a couple of times already, so he no longer saw it as something unusual.
He had had a tough time taking care of her the previous night. Before he eventually showered and got to bed, he was completely beat. Normally, he would have slept in, especially since he didn't have to go to work until evening, but she was starving and the hunger had woken him up.
When he noticed she was about to wake up, he tried to withdraw from her, but she draped her hand around his waist while muttering, "A little longer, James."
He was a little surprised to see she was awake and she seemed to know the kind of position they were in, yet she was not making any move to disengage from him, but even keeping him in place.
