The Final Outcome

Jess was in the hospital for awhile, the four were becoming more scared she wouldn't make it. They at least hoped she would make it.

Her sister took the three boys home knowing Jess might be in the hospital for a couple days. Even though the boys didn't want to leave Jess in this condition they still had the fact they were going to see their family again to look forward to.

-1 week later-

A group of nurses did the normal check up with Jess's vital signs. They successfully removed the bullet in the OR room and sewed her up. Luckily the bullet didn't puncture anything too life threatening. Nurses say she is recovering just fine but....

"She hasn't woken up since the surgery." A nurse reported to the doctor.

"Huh? Let's give it more time. Her vitals are just fine. She's just tired, I take it."

"Once she wakes up, she should be fine to go home." The doctor informed.

-3 days later-

A soft knock echoed the small room Jess was sleeping in. In walked a curious visitor, as they walked up to her bed pulling up a chair. The sight pained the visitor as they stretched their arm out grabbing her exposed cold hand. A tear fell for their face.

"Hey, I know you can't hear me but.. I couldn't bare one more day without seeing you. Even if your not awake.."

They squeezed her hand tight with more tears falling from their face.

"I never thought I would see my family again.."

They looked at Jess's face.

"I'm sorry I doubted you.. I.."

He balled his other hand tight.

"I can't believe your here.. After everything you said how us three would survive.. You were serious.. I.. feel like a dick with how I treated you. I should have given you a chance. No matter how stubborn I was you put me in my place even if I didn't want it. This has been the longest week and a half of my life, and that says something.. The fact I was wondering every time I would wake up the next day to see my family and friends. I couldn't get you out of my head. I have everything I ever wanted but now... I.. I need you to wake up. Please." He cried out.

He squeezed her hand tight while sniveling.

"Jess... I... need you. I need the person who saved me and my brother from death himself."

He cried out loudly. "Please!" He said while cried in his other hand.

Kyle was still crying when he heard the heart monitor go slightly faster. He looked up, the moment he did he felt as if his heart leaped out of his chest.

"J-Jess?"
