Agreement

The couple enjoyed frolicking in the water.

Brent was trying to enjoy the water even if his woman was avoiding him.

Irene, on the other hand, continues giving him a cold shoulder.

She was looking at the faraway mountain in the distance when she felt the vampire's presence behind her. She turned around and came face to face with him. "Don't come closer to me, you're suffocating me," she said.

Brent sighed. "Are you gonna ignore me for the rest of our stay here on the island?" he asked.

Irene sighed heavily, she looked straight into his eyes. "I'm being honest with you from the very beginning, I won't fall in love with a vampire. As you can see, I am human therefore I will only fall in love with a human. Period!"

Brent groaned, he felt that his heart was being ripped open by Irene's blatant rejection of his affection toward her. He looked painfully into her eyes. "Why? Why don't you give me a chance? We can be happy together, we're even compatible with each other intimacy-wise. I can give you everything you want in life. All I need from you is to give me a chance, fall in love with me and you won't regret it," he begged.

Irene shook her head. "You are a vampire. You should only fall for your own kind," she said coldly and walked away from him.

Brent was shaking his head, following Irene from behind. "Sweetie, I'll give you one year, okay? Please don't rush with your decision. Don't shut me out from your heart. Can't you see that we're meant to be together? I hope you will realize one day that I only have sincere intentions towards you. I want to make you happy, please give me a chance. Even if I'm a vampire I know how to love and treasure a woman," he said softly.

Irene turned around and looked at him. "You know what can make me happy?"

"Say it! I'll try to give you anything you desire just to make you happy," he said, eager to give her everything.

Irene took a deep breath. "Look, I appreciate the golden nuggets that you gave me, but I can't tolerate your presence in my life. You are a vampire. Humans and vampires shouldn't be together, we are like day and night. We can't be together..." she said, shaking her head adamantly.

"Why are you so stubborn?" Brent asked in a cold hard voice. "Do you know that I can literally take you by force and there's nothing you can do about it?" he said, threatening her as his patience was already wearing out.

Irene swallowed the saliva in her throat, her whole body trembled with fear. She had almost forgotten that he was a vampire.

"You enjoyed my gifts yet you are so cold towards me. It's unfair to me! Without my gifts you are nothing!" Brent said angrily, his eyes turned opaque black.

Irene breathed deeply, fearing for the worst. "A-are you going to take away the golden nuggets?" she asked, her voice trembling with fear. No! She can't accept this! She has so many projects for her family's future and they all need big capital.

"You know that I can take away those golden nuggets anytime I want! So make up your mind now, sweetie! Be my woman or you will lose those treasures that I have given to you!" Brent laid down his ultimatum.

Tears sprang from Irene's eyes, the fear of losing those golden nuggets is making her cry, it terrifies her. Without those golden nuggets, all her life plans will fail!

She can't allow him to take away those treasures! They only belong to her! Those treasures are her property because she is the one who finds them. She looked at him. "What do you want? If you want my body I can give it to you. If you want sex you can have it, but I can never give my heart to you! Just don't take away the golden nuggets, they are my life!" she begged. She broke down in front of him, tears rolled down her face. She pitied herself, offering her body to a vampire in exchange for the treasures was already the lowest level that she can push herself with.

The saying is right... There is no free lunch in this world!

If she really wants something so bad she has to work hard for it. She wants the treasures so badly that she is willing to pay a price and sacrifice her body to the vampire and become his sex slave.

Brent fought the urge to comfort her. He remains rooted on the spot, even though his heart was bleeding while watching his woman cry, but he has to make Irene make the choice right now. "I don't want your body only! I also want your soul and your heart. I want your everything because you are my woman!" he said in an authoritative voice, not giving her any room for negotiations.

Irene raised her tear-stained face and looked at him with an iron will flashing in her eyes. "You can have my body in exchange for the golden nuggets but I can't love you! I can't give you my heart. Never!" she said, her eyes blazing with fierce determination.

Brent was speechless for a moment. Irene's refusal to surrender to him is making him mad. But on the other hand, sex can also make him closer to her. Maybe one day Irene will realize how compatible they are as a couple not only through sex but as a whole.

"Okay, fine. I'll take your offer, I'll have your body in exchange for the golden nuggets, and every time I want to have sex with you, you can't say no! Deal or no deal?" Brent said, a mischievous smile curled upon his lips.

"Deal!" Irene sighed deeply, glaring at him furiously. He's a sex maniac after all!

Brent smiled naughtily, and before Irene can blink her eyes, he was already by her side. He scooped her out of the water and carried her back to the shore.

"W-what are you doing?" she asked, glaring at him.

"Let's put our deal into action. I want to make love with you before we go back to reality. Let's not waste this beautiful moment and celebrate our agreement. And you can't say no!" he said, laughing softly.

Frustrated, Irene can only grind her teeth in anger.
