Test of strength

His memories began to float back in but something else also entered his memory like a forgotten mission. His whole purpose of existance. He felt like if he could get close enough to touch the light, hell gain something important.

He was so close to getting it. A loud ringing sound rang all across the void shattering it into shreds.

A shadowy figure stood where the ball of light was and spoke to him.

"Its too early for you to learn the truth, you need to find the other artifacts first. One of them is hidden in this world. Take care my lord"

With that the shattered plain faded away leaving Dreama with a lot of question.

"Just what is going on"

While Dreama was in his trance state the system couldn't feel his consciousness.

Although the system acts like its Dreama that is dependant on it, but it very well know that even without the system Dreama was bound to conquer.

Suddenly Dreama's consciousness floated back into his body.

Dreama opened his eyes noticing everywhere in total mess. He was the only one on the platform and in the whole hall.

"just what the hell happened here"

"How in the world did I learn a new skill. Don't tell me I did all this"

"hey kid . you done recking the place" the sky master asked folding his arms.

"I hummm.." he scratched in embarrassment the back of his head.

"its alright kid but we need to get you outa here before some angry bird finds you"

"Ti lee!" a loud scream was heard

"and that's our que to leave or we'll both be loosing our heads"

He grabbed the puzzled Dreama and disappeared.

A few hours later the children were gathered together and Dreama resieved multiple death stares but the most obvious killing intent came from the phoenix grandmaster.

The sky grandmaster gave him a concerned look as if guaranteed of his death.

Someone jerked him at the side when he turned to look it turned out to be kash with a furious look on his face.

"how dare you take my spot as number one"

"watch your back you nobody you wouldn't have an easy win this time" with that he stormed off leaving Dreama perplexed.

"I see kash has found himself a new rival"

"tell me about it"

"The name's Liam" he stretched out his arm for an hand shake.

"Am Dreama" he shook his arm.

They both felt a sensation go through them. Liam thought noting much of it both Dreama had so much to think of it. Unbeknownst to him a small seed has sprouted inside the both of them signifying a future subordinate of cause that's a tale for later.

"Gather up kids the next trial begins now"

The excited bunch quickly cluttered close to the sky master.

"The next trial will be the trial of strength we'll measuring the level of your strength"

"I'll be the judge for the level, so I hope there will be no blowing up the area this time" he looked in Dreama's direction.

'Mei Yu is defiantly gonna have your head, tch poor boy am so glad am not in your shoes' he gave him one last glance as if marking his demise.

"Gather before the stone gate"

"You'll go in in groups" he announced.

It got to Dream's turn he was grouped with Liam, Kash and a group of other children, all between the ages of thirteen and fourteen, stood before the towering wall of jagged rocks that loomed before them. They knew that reaching the other side was the only way to complete the trial of strength and earn their place as martial student.

The children looked at each other nervously, unsure of where to begin. Suddenly, Kash steped forward.

"Listen up you tweeds I'll be going first and you should all stay behind until am done passing" he folded his arms looking down at them arrogantly

Dreama, stepped forward followed closely by Liam.

"You have no right to tell anyone to back off just because you said so"

"and you are?"

"Am no one that concerns you anyway since you've decided to slack off we'll be going in first," he said with a mocking bow. He nodded addressing the group.

The others nodded and followed behind, watching his straight back in awe as it emitted the aura of a leader ready to face any battle while they moved forward.

Kash stood behind with a perplexed look on his face. He gritted his teeth as he followed behind.

 With a deep breath, Dreama charged forward and leapt towards the rocks, his sword leading the way. With a loud crack, Dreama's sword made contact with the rocks, sending shards of stone flying in all directions, he did it so precisely that none of the shards touched the other kids behind him. But Dreama didn't stop. He pushed harder motivating the others behind him with the determination to climb over the wall and reach the other side.

The walls were very steep and it took precise steps and calculations to get through each landing.

Finally, after what felt like hours, Dreama and the other kids reached the top of the wall. With a triumphant roar, they jumped down to the other side, landing on their feet with a thud. The group of children cheered as they had passed.

Kash was behind the rest, because of his pride he couldn't ask for their help and got to the other side last.

"Congratulation to you all, honestly its surprising you all were able to do it together" the grandmaster laughed.

'This kid sure is something else, carrying a group of weak kids and still able to achieve great things'

'I'll have to convince Mei Yu not to kill him 'he sighed

"Alright follow me time to go to your doom, sorry I mean your next trial" he sighed.
