Strike Back

The man in grey didn't show up at any of the four victim's hospital rooms however, it remained elusive and unseen for thirty minutes after knocking the two paramedics and two agents out.

No one was able to catch a glimpse of it, expect a few women but no agents amongst them, only nurses and patient had seen him walking around, which after tracing his movements, they were able to track him down to one place.

The nursery, there, their target was nowhere to be seen but a few nurses were out cold and all of the babies were just on the ground, as if everything had been knocked over.

The nursery had no camera but the leader had a sight of the room through the open door, he could see multiple agents, the entity had definitely been there, it had managed to get inside and had attacked some nurses and made a mess, leaving babies in a difficult situation.

"What are you trying to accomplish here?" he muttered as he leaned forward, trying to see if he could see anything unusual from there.

All he noticed was a strange of light appearing on the desk supporting the various screens, landing just next to where his right hand was.

He immediately turned around, only seeing the door shut without anyone having entered the room.

Without even lamenting his situation, he tried pulling his gun out but felt a strong grip landing on his arm, forcing him to let go of it with nothing but brute strength.

Then, he got struck in the face and his vision instantly grew dark, the man in grey threw the unconscious man to the side like a bag of trash and took hold of the radio, crushing before giving a similar treatment to the cameras, he then turned around, walked out of the room and approached a red box stuck to the wall.

With a slight push, the fire alarm went off and a certain erratic panic washed over everyone in the building, the bystanders started leaving and the hospital staff tried to understand whether it was a real or false issue.

The unit working under the leader's guidance were left in a state of disarray as they couldn't reach him any longer.

He then calmly walked toward a certain room, a storage area containing something that could make this situation real.

Breaking in without a hitch, the entity took hold of a bottle labeled: Isopropyl alcohol, opening lids after lids, he let the opened containers fall to the ground, he then pulled something he had borrowed from the leader of the operation to capture him.

Letting the lighter fall to the ground, the entity didn't care when he partially caught on fire, seemingly unaffected completely as he then went in the direction of a certain blonde.

As panic was still set in and now that a fire had actually started, the priority was the evacuation of the patients and personnel, before that could actually happened however, the man in grey was already were he meant to go, the confused and inattentive agents never saw it coming.

The entity made his way through the door like a normal person, knowing that Marina was inside, however, she wasn't laying in the bed.

In fact, the bed wasn't in the right spot, since it was moving toward him, striking him in the stomach and pushing the unreacting entity back into the hallway and pinning him against the wall.

Marina bolted down the hallway as the entity pushed the bed of off himself and started walking after her after noticing that she was already getting too far.

She was running from where he had come from, thus, toward the heart of the flames, she wouldn't be able to run through the hallway after some point.

No one would be there to help her, all of her friends were still bedridden, the agents acting as bodyguards had all been taken out, she was running into a fiery dead end, there was no way for her to evade him any longer.

As she reached the aforementioned dead end, the entity stopped in his track, most likely contemplating what course of action she could attempt, there were rooms on the sides but she didn't try to go inside at all, instead, she grabbed a fire extinguisher on the wall.

The entity stepped forward as she shuffled with it to make it work.

It was expected for a fire extinguisher to be used on fire, especially when there was an inferno just steps away but she fired the foam directly in the face of the man in grey, obstructing his sight for a few moments.

He attempted a wide grab swinging his arms from each side in a large arc but the smaller girl easily went past his grasp but crouching down.

The entity was struck in the back with the heavy extinguisher and sent stumbling as slight bit forward but the ground now being slippery due to some foam and sent right into the wall of fire.

Compared to before, when the flames seemed ineffective against him, he quickly caught into flames, the moment he was stepped out of the fire, the intense flames had already melted his eyeballs and consumed any soft tissue, leaving his lower jaw hanging by nearly nothing before it fell down on the ground.

Still, the entity kept on walking forward, appearing as a demon coming out of a portal to hell.

Marina was about to throw the fire extinguisher at its face when a loud bang sounded out and suddenly, the entity stopped and fell on its back stiffly.

The operation's leader wasn't certain of his shot but seeing the tower of fire collapsing suddenly, he knew that he had hit it at the very least.

Ignoring Marina for the moment, him and the agents he had managed to gather, surrounded the fallen entity, which had yet to show any sign of going back up, they brought in some sort of metallic, carpet-looking thing and wrapped it around the man in grey's charred body.

"I want at least three people looking at this thing for the whole time, shoot it in the head if it seems to be awake" he ordered, as he quickly hurried his troops to bring their target out, not wanting anyone else to see it, a few people was alright but if the firemen saw it too, it could become problematic.
