The Day Outside

Reaching a new area, I had the urge to look at the tower to see the remaining distance we need to travel.

"Carnal Tower"

"An ancient structure that absorbs malice and releases it back to the world."

"Distance: 170 Kilometers"

We've walked for hours, fought against two types of monsters, and with ourselves. All that and we've barely even covered thirty kilometers. Maybe I've said it already, but, the distance inside of this stage feels trippy. Almost hallucinatory.

From the starting area, I could see the humungous trees and the tower. Given that they reach heights greater than everything else, they are still far away but appear rather closer.

In reality, the human eye could only see around five kilometers away if you're standing on a global scale because of the earth's curvature. I guess this is a flat stage that has huge rocks or slopes. And they also have some random phenomena that fool one's senses.
