24. Confession

" boom. Bomm booommmm..." With a back flip dastan jumped in the air. And shot the monster with his fire ball spell.

After stadly standing on the ground, little further away from the monster. He looked for a damage that his spell has created but only some minor injury could be seen on monster's body.

It's been an hour since, dastan came inside the forest. And this is, his 5th monster. But now finally got his match. According to system evaluation, this monster is approximately at level 35. Which is little higher then him.

Dastan' once again lunched himself toward the monster with a steel sword in his hand. And started slashing horizontally and vertically again and again, not giving the monster any chance to counterattack. But secretly prepared fire dragon spell on his left hand.

Seeing that the spell is ready, dastan suddenly withdrew from near the monster and shot the spell. Which he prepared beforehand.

" Booooommmmmm"

With a massive explosion dastan could feel the heatwave coming to his face. But he didn't avoid it but looked for the monster in the midst of this explosion.

When the dust got cleared, monster could be seen in a sorry state. But still not dead so to take down his remaining breath, he shot multiple fire ball at him. And the monster took his last breath.

Fighting this monster, dastan realise his current battle power. And so he moved to the next location.

As he was looking for another monster, dastan heard a scream which came from the place, He is currently going. Hearing this sound dastan increased his speed. And reached the place in 2 minutes where the sound came from.

Hidding behind the foliage, dastan watched. A bear with the height 200 cm currently bearing his fangs at a girl but he couldn't see the face clearly. He thought about it for a while and moved behind the monster.

Just as the monster was about to atteck the girl. Dastan from behind shot him with his fire dragon spell. And with such a close distance, this spell showed it's great power. A loud explosion shock the forest, as tree nearby fall because of shockwave.

As for the girl, currently she was on the ground. So the shockwave didn't effect her that much. But still it made her ears bleed a little.

The bear who bore the full brunt of the attack. Was laying on the ground, breathing heavily. Dastan knew that the monster is no longer a threat. So ignoring it, dastan went toward the girl but stopped half way after finding who she was. A soft voice escaped his lips.

" Alice.."

Even in his dream, he never thought, he would meet the girl whome he always thought about.

The atmosphere became little silent, and both looked at eachother with complicated eyes. Dastan' knew that whatever happened in the game wasn't real but for him it was more than real.

As for Alice , he didn't know how she felt about this but seeing her here , his heart again started to beat faster.

Alice looked at dastan, not really sure what she was feeling right now. On one hand she hates him but on the other she doesn't want him to get hurt.

" What are you doing here, let's go , i will take outside the forest." With little courage dastan said to Alice.

" And what about you." Alice really wanted to know how he did it , and why he is so powerful outside the game. But all the questions stuck in her throat. For unknown reason she didn't wanted to make him upset. So just asked an simple question.

Dastan' suddenly thought of something, and hasitated a little. Seeing his hasitation Alice started to become anxious.'Was he going to ask me about, what happened in the game. '

She wasn't ready to talk about this thinks. And can only hope that dastan don't bring that subject.

After hasitating a little, dastan asked with determination. " Alice if there is way for you to get more power same as the game , would you like to have it in real life." Even though it was dangerous to tell her. But he wanted to trust her this once.

" Same as you " she asked, not perturbed about it.

She had seen dastan fight that monster, and not any normal person can do it. In the library, she once read that there was a time when mages , warriors were roaming around this land but after the big war everything disappeared like a smoke. And now people don't even remember that once their world used to be a magical place.

" Yes" she looked at him for a while and asked another question.

" Why do you want to give me such power. Aren't you afraid that I will tell everyone about you." Saying that she looked at another direction and continued." Or are you giving me this chance to compansate what happened between us inside the game."

Taking a deep breath dastan said " non of them, 2 days ago I was nobody with crippled body. I spent my whole life on a bad dreaming to be normal again.in my life , there is only a sister and a brother. And beside them you are the only one I know about. Well, our meeting was an accident but for me it was real as it can get.so yes i want to give this chance to you because I know you more then anyone else."

After a little silent dastan continued " so what is your answer."

Alice continued to remain silent making dastan even more nervous. But after a while she spoke. " Before i agree or disagree to your proposal, can I ask you a question."

Dastan nodded asking her to go ahead .

" What do you think about, what happened between us in the game." There is some kind of determination could be seen in Alice's eyes.

Dastan stayed silent for a while and clanched his fist as he said." I knew that it wasn't my fault but still I felt guilty about this. And I can't describe how i feel about it but only one thing I want to say to you. I ...Like .....You ....Alice." Finished saying dastan stared at the emrald eyes of Alice , waiting for an answer.
