13.Keep Fighting

Standing in front of obelisk, dastan looked quite small. He had a feeling . when he finished conquering this obelisk, He will be a top figure in his world.

After once again coming inside, he couldn't help but Marvel the beauty of this place. If he had the chance he can live here his whole life.

After looking around dastan took a deep breath, and walked forward one step but a monster appeared as he was waiting for.

Dastan' didn't waste time in thinking and attack the monster suddenly with his fire ball. The monster wasn't prepared for this sudden strike, but with his agility it survived by a small margin.

Seeing that the monster evaded his first attack dastan prepared was for it and used his second spell ' ice lance .

Because of the first attack monster was disoriented and couldn't evade the second attack and got heat squirrely on his chest. Making it bloody.

The blood of the monster started to drop on the ground but monster remained motionless. Without feeling any pain.

Seeing that his attacks are unaffected against it. Dastan suddenly took some distance from the monster . And Started using his most powerful spell' meteor shower. but this spell takes a little time to cast , which is why dastan went a little further away from the monster.

Monster knew that something bad is about to happen, not want give dastan any chance to cast his spell. It broke into run with his agility, it was matter of second to reach dastan.

But dastan was ready for this aswell. As the monster coming near him . Dastan' suddenly used another spell ' sky walk' which is a wind related spell. After using it dastan seems like, he disappeared from the spot and appeared in the sky Above the monster. And finally without hasitating cast meteor shower spell.

After few second the sky became red, And something is coming from the sky could be seen. while the falling meteor was burning with scorching fire. Even from this further distance, dastan could feel the heat. Seeing that the monster also wanted to escape from this area . But dastan using fire ball and ice lance stopped him from moving.

As the monster was busy dealing with his small attacks , the meteor came crashing down like wanted to burn the whole world.

And just in few second meteor crashed into the ground where the monster was standing . Making that ground into lava pool.

When the smoke and dust settled down , what could be seen a waste and a lava land. As for the monster he is no where to be seen.

After killing the monster dastan sat on the ground to get some rest and also waiting for something to happen like a notification or something but even after sometime it didn't happen.

Dastan was confused about this. Didn't know what to do now.

Nothing else to do dastan stood up and started walking forward towards the mountain . But just as he walked 10 meters further with a strong mana Strom a new monster appeared in front of him.

Dastan was really speechless, 'do I need to kill all the monster that appears in front of me to reach the mountain.' dastan thought.

Then another round of battle started,

in the end the monster ended up dying. Even though it survive the meteor shower but because of weakened state . Dastan finished it with ice lance.

This time dastan didn't started walking but started to wait for the next monster. But the monster didn't come even after an hour passed.

Then dastan thought ' maybe this is the end.' he started going towards the mountain again but once again 10 meters further a new monster suddenly appeared making dastan swear bad words.

But this time dastan knew the mechanism . How this monsters keep appearing. He understood if he wants to go to the mountain then he has to fight his way there.

Just like that he kept battling and whenever he gets tired or out of mana. He takes sometime to recover.

After spending a whole night battling , dastan only reach half way there. Looking at the mountain which is still quite a distance away from him . Dastan couldn't help but wonder. " What could be there, is it someone who wants to test me or something I will get after finishing this test.

No matter how much he thought , it doesn't change the fect he was tired not physically but spritually.

After thinking about going outside while closing his eyes , dastan found him self out of the obelisk.

Suddenly he heard his sister's voice which reminded him , it is already morning. And it's time for the Breakfast.

Dastan hurriedly opened his eyelids to tell that he is awake.but this time dastan was shocked beyond words.

Everytime he opened the eyelids or not , he is pretty much srounded by darkness but today it was little different.

When he opened his eyelids instead of darkness he found a shadow moving around in front of him. He knew it was his sister. 'But since when I can see in reality ' dastan thought. Not believing this is happening to him.

' maybe a long period of battle made him delusional ' he thought. But deep inside him he wanted to believe it was real.

Time went by and dastan finished his breakfast without knowing. And just when Claire was cleaning his mouth with a cloth, a loud voice sounded from outside the room . Which made dastan think about proving that if it is an illusion or real.

After few second dastan watched a second shadow came inside his room. And finally believed that he started to recover his eyesight.

And all of this is only because of one thing that Dastan think of. 'The obelisk'
