The magic circle glowed. Benu woke Yllana from her reverie soon as he noticed the faint golden lines beaming softly like a beacon…but something more ominous. "It doesn't look like anything good."
"I never believed that the West was all that pure too, but since this circle might be connected to my second chain of a curse, I need to figure out what it wants to say."
Yllana dismissed their suggestions of leaving the place after cultivating for a month.
"Master, let me try the circle first. If anything goes amiss…"
Yllana glared at Laia. "I did not bring you here to be a sacrificial lamb, Laia."
Blue and Silver looked at each other. "Then can we?" The two spoke at the same time. Yllana massaged her temples and groaned.
"Stop." She stepped into the circle while hearing their gasps. Benu stood firmly on the side of the circle.
