"Show me! Show me" Swinging her small arm up and down cutely, not only her appearances, even her personality seemed like that of an children.
"Okay, here it is. Shadow Dagger." Even if he hurried to create it, it took him a 3 minutes, shortening the time by 2 minutes. After all, writing in air with no pen or sort was quite difficult.
The multiple pitch black daggers was launched toward Ayame, and she widened her eyes a bit before easily blocking it. After that, she grabbed Kuro's hand and praised him. "That's amazing! That dagger's real body is actually a little ahead than what we can see!"
"Thank you, thank you." Taking on the compliments, Kuro rubbed the back of his head while smiling happily.
Kuro's clone also noticed that the handleless lightsaber started to be fainter and it disappeared to the air. From 20 minutes to 30 minutes. With this time in mind, Kuro controlled his clone to go back into writing his manga. Till now, he hasn't even written the 1st chapter of Inuyasha.
But almost a month wasn't spent for nothing. He somewhat learned the basic of when writing the character, the background, how he express it when character do a certain action. This clone technique was certainly something amazing, worthy of ancient Elvin languages.
Kuro made sure to thank Botan and Maou if they arrived to this place…
*woosh*
Making a small sound, something arrived. 'Yeah taking the saying of when you talk about someone, the shadow stalks you too literally.' Kuro complained at his well-timed arrival. How do he say it… he was forced to get used at this scenery.
During this past month, this guy came to this place more than 5 times. And most of the reason was 'bored.'
"Not playing game with you… didn't I give you the deck so that you can play with others?"
"Yo-you see… strangely, my friends is unbelievably low for some reason, y'know? Excluding the white lion, I only have one friend and you can't just play 1v1 with this card, right?" Maou with sweet flowing his forehead, said nervously.
"Well actually, there is. You see, we lay these 2 card in the middle. And a set of cards in your right, the opponent is also the same—then you (and your opponent) takes 4 cards from the card set in your right."
"Then, lays your 1st card in the middle. If there's a card which number is 1 lower or higher, you are allowed to stack it up that card. The first person to completely use up the set cards in your right and the cards in your hand is the person that win… what was this name called… Speed, was it?"
The image of the card in the table was, Unrevealed Card Set in your right, 4 revealed card in your front, 2 card in the middle, and the mirror (your opponent which card is positioned the same)
""""Ohhh"""" The four clapped their hands. It's just a single deck of card, with appearances not even changed, but the game was entirely different. Through this game introduction, they learned that if one was creative, one can make a multiple games from a single things.
"Heh~ 'speed' in speed contest on which player can use up the card, huh?" Maou smiled while thinking of the game.
"Care a try, Ayame-chan? As I don't want to bully this bored guy." In respond, Ayame nodded excitedly. After all, this was a first game in half-a-month it is no wonder.
"Okay." The card was thrown accurately, sliding and stopping at the exact place in ordered manner. Due to Kuro's physical strength increasing at the same time his control over force being trained to extreme, the preparation before the play ended instantly.
Taking the cards to his hand, he laid three cards in front of him, then he slowly spoke. "To be honest, this game isn't about how fast you uses your card."
While Ayame tilting her head out of confusion, she still picked up the card. "This game is about which one is faster than one."
As the cards in the middle was revealed, Kuro's hand blurred out in an instant, without giving Ayame the time to react, then… [11] [11] this was the count of card in the middle. Either use 10 or 12, or else you can't use anything.
Ayame confirmed the card in front of her, then found out that there was no 10, neither the 12. Afterward, Kuro's action was very slow, bu Ayame can't do anything but, look frustratedly. Using up 6 cards, Kuro finally had no cards that is within 1 count.
So, Kuro and Ayame randomly took out the cards from their hand, then laid it in the middle, and continued the match… which Ayame's advances quickly shackled by Kuro's scheme again. It's frustrating for her. She had [7] [6] [5] [6] in her hand but she couldn't use any of them because the card in the middle was [3] [9]
Kuro even had [8] in one of his hand but he wasn't using it. And… Kuro's card count was slowly reducing. The pace it was reducing was so slow that it annoyed her. It was like, a grandma picking out the ingredients for the food tonight from the huge mall.
And finally, no more card in Kuro's hand to continue his offences so, the two once again took each card in their hand and sent it out to the middle and this time was [7] [8] Kuro sent out the [8] he had before and Ayame sent out the [7].
With this, she can start her combo… Or not! Kuro had another [8] in his hand. Using that, he blocked Ayame's path, but luckily for Ayame, she drew another 7 from the card set in front of her. Just after she laid the number 7 card in hurry that she noticed her mistake.
Just as she was about to combo this and sent out her entire hand, Kuro sent out [6] from his hand. 'If [6] doesn't work, then my [5]…!' But she was too late. The process of taking back [6] to her hand and taking [5] was too slow.
During her process, Kuro had already changed the number [6] to [5]. The number [5] to [6]. The number [6] to number [7]. And, in his hand was only 1 card, [1].
Comparing Kuro's empty right side and her stacked up card set in her right side, a feeling of frustration welled up.
As the 2 have no more cards they can put in front, the 2 was forced to take 1 card in their hand, and sent it out to the front, which automatically indicate Kuro's victory.
In terms of reaction timing, she wins. In term of physical ability, she was superior. But in term of skill, she was far below, not even matched to Kuro. With this skill gap, no matter how slow Kuro plays, she would still lose due to the psychological tactics.
Ayame's feeling of frustration, her gaze seemingly calm, yet a certain fire being lighten up, her never giving spirit even after facing the 'absolute' in front of her. It reminded 17, no, Kuro himself.
"So this is what you meant by 'which one is faster than which one.' You can also try to obstruct your enemy's path and force your name to freeze at spot. By the way, I didn't came here because I was bored. I came here to hand you guys these tickets."
What was handed by him were the tickets of… horse racing? Getsuba Tournament was the name pf ticket. From the look of the date written in it, there was more than 1 year before this tournament actually come up.
The moment these tickets were handed, complaint has risen up in 3's minds. "Couldn't you have given this to us at first place?"
Somehow, Maou managed to waste 1 chapters on this filler. But this filler were connected to big events (maybe).
Well Getsuba Tournament IS a big event (in country) so I am not lying.
