The day of the ball

I woke up early to help set up for the ball, I ended up losing track of time and ended up only having an hour till the ball. They told me I could go and get ready so I did. I rushed to my room and took a shower. After I was done I dried the best I could and braided my hair the headpiece I made Intertwining with my hair. I put on my dress & made sure all was well, I then put on a necklace mother gave me and shoes before taking down my hair and making sure it was wavey and wasn't too frizzy. Once I decided I looked decent enough I walked down to the ball. Once I got there I looked at the clock and saw it started in three minutes. I was the last to arrive, One of the instructors came to me and said "Alright Umiko, This ball is going to show not only what you know about how to act and behave in public but will also be an experience to learn about each other. That bit will be when the bell has rung so you enjoy your self" I nodded "Thank you miss" I walked around looking at everyone. I saw the Haruna kids Nevalen and Avanna in lavender clothing. The element kids were all in clothing that matched their elements. I saw the afterlife kids phanes and shinigami or life and death as everyone calls them. Phanes had a mix of white and gold on while shinigami wore black and red. I saw malik and Jackson who were dressed in brown. The seleonis kids were dressed vibrantly. The Avor kids were in navy and gold. The celestial kids solar & eclipse were amazing looking, Solar looked like he was glowing and was in full yellow while eclipse was in a purple color and his eyes looked like the night sky. I pretty much stayed to myself since everyone else has someone to talk to and hang out with. But then I heard I song I loved and danced I wasn't paying attention to anyone and just danced. I didn't realize that everyone was staring at me, well that was till I stopped dancing. I was worried that I had made a fool of myself, But then people clapped and I smiled. I was having fun dancing by myself but then I saw Jackson and malik walk over, Jackson smiled "Hey umiko can you dance with Malik?" I smiled "Sure" He held his hand to me as a song started and we danced. I saw Life and Death watch us dance. I shrugged it off and just danced with him, I was thinking about what I should say when we go up and talk about our kingdoms. Once the music finished and the bell rang everyone stopped and looked at the stage where one by one our homes were called and we went up and talked about them. It was interesting, Then It was finally my turn. I walked up and started talking. "hello I am umiko and I come from an island called bakoda and my mother is-" I was cut off by a girl yelling "Wait like the magic island?!?" I nodded "Yes my mother is also Aphrodite. I have been learning from her till now." The teachers looked at each other and I heard whispers, So I bowed and got off stage. I enjoyed the rest of the ball till it was about the end and a teacher pulled me to the side. "So you are going to be taking different classed from now on okay?" I nodded and when the ball ended I went to bed exhausted.
