Getting ready for the mini kingdoms ball.

We where having a ball for us to not only have a fun time but also show how well we could use what we learned. It was also for us to get to know each other better. They gave us a break from all classes that didn't involve preparation for the ball. Once they told us the theme we had to start thinking of what to wear. I asked if It was okay If I went to get some fabric and things. They said it was okay if I brought someone with me. So I did, Asked and got one of the adults to come with me. It was miss Sarina, She took me and helped me get what I needed. On our way back I asked if I could barrow a sewing mannequin. She smiled "Of course you can" We went and I picked one that was closest to my size. She helped me take everything back to my room. I sat everything down on my desk and started working. She left and I kept working. They wanted us to dress in clothing that would fit where we come from. So I made a dress that would best describe what I felt when I thought of home. I made it like mother's dress that she wears on occasion. A sea blue dress that flows like the waves. It would be a off shoulder dress and has long bell sleeves. I made teal anemone flowers going down the dress. I made a head piece that would intertwine with my hair. I got some help with the shoes but other then that I did everything by myself. But of course I couldn't do it all in one day. Turns out I spent a whole three days in my room. I didn't realize till I came out to get help with the shoes. Miss Sarina sighed "I'm glad you're enthusiastic but please take care of yourself and eat something" I looked at her "I did, Remember while we where out I got somethings for me to eat while I worked on the outfit" She laughed a bit "Guess I forgot, but do you mind if I see the dress? I'm curious to see how it looks." She handed me the shoes and I got up, "Nope, I want it to be a surprise." She laughed "Okay I'll wait till tomorrow" I smiled and went back to my room. I put every thing together and tried it on. I was pleased with how it looked, So I took it off and put everything back on the mannequin. I took a shower and relaxed being happy I was done with the clothes. I ended up taking a nap till dinner when I got woken up by a knock on my door. I got up and walked over seeing one of the servants standing there. "Dinner is ready miss" I smiled "Thank you" I shut my door and headed down sitting at the table. Sorin looked at me "you finally came out of your room" I laughed "Yeah sorry I lost track of time" Everyone looked at me and someone else said "You where in there for three days Umiko" I nodded "I know, I got really focused" After we all ate we where sent to bed so we would be ready for the ball tomorrow. So I went back to my room and got ready for bed.
