Days after the ball

My classes were now being held in my room, One teacher would come in to do their lesson and I would do the work at my desk. I asked them why I was now being taught alone now and they just sighed saying the same thing "Because your different" A lot of them started treating me differently as well. Not in a bad way ut just wasn't like they saw me as a child anymore so they treated me not as a student but like I was of great importance. I don't get why, though I am glad that some did take me more seriously the only ones who changed were my history math English, and science teachers. On the other hand, my magic and fighting teachers weren't holding back anymore so that was a plus. I was allowed to leave my room for magic or defense training. After class was done I was allowed to leave and go for a walk but I had to have someone go with me. They choose shinigami since he was the closest to my room and since he doesn't talk to many people. I would invite shinigami to my room to hang out. He eventually started coming to my room to eat breakfast lunch and dinner, A maid or butler would follow with a cart of food. It was mostly Miss Julia and Mister Carlos who brought the food. Then later in the day, we would take a walk around the garden or woods. I liked hanging out with him when I could. On the weekends we were allowed to hang out around campus or go off campus if we wanted. We would need an adult to follow us, But I didn't mind. I was just happy to be able to hang out with my friends, even if nevi would 'ship' me with guys. I don't know what she means by it though. But every time I ask they just laugh so I guess I'll ask shinigami when I see him.
