Hogwarts: The Dark Lord Of The Abyss

In Kyle’s Dark Ascent, Kyle finds himself transported into the world of Harry Potter, where he gains access to a unique power known as the "Emo Chest" system. By provoking intense reactions and raising the blood pressure of those around him, he can unlock magical treasure chests. His first reward grants him a dark talent: the "Heart of Black Magic," which corrupts any spell he uses, transforming it into dark magic. Even as a young child, Kyle's reputation grows. At five, he roams Knockturn Alley as the infamous "Blood Demon." By the age of seven, he's already been sent to Azkaban, where the dementors crown him as their king. At Hogwarts, Kyle's chaotic abilities become a constant source of frustration for his professors. Professor McGonagall reprimands him for turning a needle into a dementor with Transfiguration. Professor Flitwick is bewildered when a simple levitation charm sends part of the castle flying. Even Professor Snape warns Dumbledore that Kyle is destined to become the next Dark Lord. But Kyle has grander ambitions. "Dark Lord?" he scoffs. "Call me Satan. One day, even the devil will be ashamed not to have my name tattooed on his back." Darkly humorous and filled with magical mayhem, Kyle’s Dark Ascent chronicles the rise of a boy determined to make his mark on the wizarding world, one chaotic spell at a time.

Chapter-4 You Tell Me This Is A Little Wizard Who Didn't Go To School?

"Kyle, can you really perform magic like that?" Harry Potter asked, ignoring Hermione's demonstration and directing his attention toward Kyle.

There was something about Kyle, a subtle aura that reminded Harry of a character from a movie—a mysterious figure who seemed anything but ordinary.

"The Repair Charm? It's quite a basic spell; most young wizards can manage it. But casting it without a wand, that's a bit more challenging—it requires at least silent casting," Kyle said, shrugging nonchalantly. He was already proficient in the Repair Charm; it had reached Level 8 in his system, which allowed him to cast it without a wand.

Hermione looked at Kyle skeptically, her lips pouting slightly. She had read that wandless magic was a skill only powerful wizards could master. This boy must be boasting, she thought.

Before she could respond, the compartment door swung open again. This time, a blond boy entered, his pale face framed by sharp features. Flanking him were two large, clumsy-looking boys.

It was Draco Malfoy, and the famous encounter was about to unfold.

"Oh, look, Goyle, what do we have here?" Draco sneered. "A kid who claims he can cast spells without a wand? That's a high-level skill, even my father hasn't mastered it!"

His gaze swept across the compartment, landing on each of them in turn. "I see two Mudbloods, a Weasley—who might as well be worse than a Mudblood—and Harry Potter, the so-called savior." Draco's eyes finally settled on Harry's scar. "You should know the kind of people worth befriending."

The three students, including Harry, turned to Kyle, hoping he would put Malfoy in his place.

"Alright, if you all want to see..." Kyle said with an indifferent expression. He casually snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, crash! The windows of the entire Hogwarts Express shattered, letting in the chilly September wind. Screams and startled voices echoed from the other compartments as the cold air rushed in. Many young wizards were caught off guard by the sudden burst of cold.

Malfoy's sneer froze, and his mouth opened and closed as if trying to find words that wouldn't come.

Hermione looked just as stunned. "Was that supposed to be a... Repair Charm?"

"Well, as you can see, if I'm going to demonstrate the Repair Charm, I first need to break something to repair it," Kyle said, clearing his throat. His "Heart of Black Magic" talent added extra potency to his spells, making even the simplest incantation unexpectedly powerful. Unfortunately, it also had a tendency to amplify dark magic effects.

Kyle glanced at Malfoy, whose stunned expression remained fixed in place. "Honestly, it's hard to believe someone would need a wand for such a basic spell." He decided to show them what a real Repair Charm looked like. This time, he recited the incantation aloud.

"Reparo!"

With a series of loud bangs, the glass reassembled itself. But that wasn't all. As the train sped along, an elderly woman pushing a trolley appeared in the aisle, selling snacks from Honeydukes Candy Shop.

Without warning, the ceiling of the Hogwarts Express lifted away, flying off like a meteor across the sky. Sunshine poured in, mixing with the cold breeze. The trolley witch clutched her cart in shock.

Inside the compartment, both the "Golden Trio" and Malfoy's group were dumbstruck. The Hogwarts Express, now windowless and roofless, looked like a ramshackle contraption hurtling down the tracks.

Malfoy's legs trembled with fear. Was this really a first-year wizard who hadn't even started school?

[Ding! Startled emotion detected!]

[Ding! Extracting a treasure chest for the host!]

[Ding! Congratulations, host has obtained a golden treasure chest!]

The system notifications buzzed in Kyle's mind. A mixture of bronze, silver, and golden treasure chests kept appearing, thanks to the emotional shock reverberating throughout the train.

"Who knew Hogwarts could be such a rewarding place?" Kyle mused, hugging the Sun Elf on his shoulder for warmth. He wore an innocent-looking smile, although he felt a little embarrassed by the unintended consequences. It seemed that the "Heart of Black Magic" talent automatically turned every spell into something darker than intended.

[Ding! Friendly reminder: the 'Heart of Black Magic' talent can be toggled on or off by the host.]

Kyle's thoughts froze. "Wait, what? I could have turned it off this whole time?" He mentally cursed the system but quickly composed himself.

"Oh, as you saw, I needed to create some damage first to properly demonstrate the Repair Charm," he said, straightening up. It was time to really show off his magic.

Before he could continue, another system notification echoed in his mind.

[Ding! Startled emotion detected!]

[Ding! Extracting a treasure chest for the host!]

[Ding! Congratulations, host has obtained a diamond treasure chest!]

The diamond chest had come from Malfoy, whose knees were visibly shaking. If things continued this way, Kyle thought, soon the Hogwarts Express might end up as just a line of wheels clattering along the tracks.
