I love you, Alice!

Whereas, Alice just got up on her toes again. Her face was paler than before with no trace of blood vessels on her neck.

Those grayish hair were all messed up and the gown got dirtier with the mud. She had been sitting on the ground since yesterday.

The night and day passed but there was no presence of the man whom she wished to see. Her longing got entangled with her broken eyes.

'Please Cyrus… Please come back to me. Please my dear husband…' her inner urges were now clashing with her mind. She had no idea what to see about it anymore or not.

Her eyes turned watery but this time, she held her tears back. Alice didn't let these tears through her cheeks even once, not anymore.

She tugged her shawl around her shoulders. Taking a deep breath, Alice finally broke the stagnant stare. She had been waiting since too long to not deviate her eyes. Since yesterday, her heart was crumbling down in the waiting.
