“We don’t have a television upstairs.”
“Then we can forget about the movie.”
Sasha’s smile returned. “One track mind.”
“You have to give him credit,” Scott said. “At least it’s a good track.”
Her eyes opened again, steady and warm as they settled on Adam. “You know that’s not what we expect of you, right?” It was the first time either she or Scott had addressed the issue of why he was sticking around since that afternoon at her office. He had accepted the invitation to stay and clung to it, without another word being said. “I mean, if you’re dying to get into Scott’s pants, I can’t say that I blame you, but honestly, you’re part of the family, not our personal slave or anything.”
