''...I see.'' A drop of disappointment fell into the pool of expectation in Dante's heart. No one knew how excited he was to wake up in the morning in a place that was not his room, office or the greenhouse in the duchy. This meant that seeing his wife and son yesterday was truly not a dream.
'I just have to go to their home.' He thought about to stand up from the dining table, but Lance said something that made his mood drop to the lowest.
''Is it necessary for you to appear in Isla's life again, duke?''
''You better watch the choice of your words, baron.'' Dante threatened. His words were immediate, his tone was sharp and his calm aura suddenly changed to a dangerous one.
With these little changes, anyone could tell that Dante was a time-ticking bomb and Isla and their child were definitely the trigger for him to explode.
