Hearing that the crown prince wanted to show them around, Damien thought of building his relationship with young master cadman. The latter was the first person to be friendly and talk to him. He also did not sense any ill-intentions.
Damien genuinely wanted to make friends, and this was the first time that he would reach out to someone. He felt a little nervous and excited at the same time.
''Young master cadman…'' By now, a maid had helped him to wear his winter coat and gloves. While the crown prince had started to lead others in the hallways, Damien and young master cadman were the last people following them, so he used the opportunity to express what he wanted with the latter.
''.....'' The young master said nothing and merely halted his steps. Damien, who a few steps behind him, took it as a sign to speak. ''I wanted to ask if you could be my friend.''
