I bit the inside of my cheeks to contain my nerves, and I noticed a quickening in the rate of my heartbeat. I have no idea where I went wrong with what I said. Do you intend to treat me in this manner?

Should I make my way back?

Should I let him have complete power over me at all times?

"Ben Scott has learned his lesson, so am I free now?"

I asked.

"Free? It's not quite as easy as that."

His fingers, which had been rubbing the side of my jaw, slid to the corner of my mouth and began to kiss it. His gaze became more intense as he looked at the rosy lips.

My nerves were frazzled by the action. My eyebrows become furrowed in the slightest way. When I moved my head away slightly, I heard Sean Matthews' menacing voice saying, "don't move," in a tone that was as low as it could go.

I sent him an angry gaze, but it was only natural for him to remain still in response. I gave Sean Matthews permission to stroke his firm fingers across my lips.
