I turned my attention back to the kids in a hurry.
I became aware that Sean Matthews was gazing at me.
After standing up, I stepped out onto the balcony. "Are you sure you want to sleep in this room?"
"No?"
" It’s inconvenient."
"What’s inconvenient?"
I was fixated on him. What are the inconvenient aspects? Do you need me to say?
"You tell the children."
The frown deepens. That is none of my business. Why should I even bring it up?
"You just said that you had a call and had some business to attend to just after that. Do you think it's a problem?"
"You used to lie to them in that manner, didn't you?"
I gave a sideways glance and pursed my lips as I did so. "I am obligated to..."
Sean Matthews, look at me.
"All right, you can live if you want!"
I turned around and walked away. I have just taken a few of steps. I remembered and looked back, "ah, by the way, Susan used to help take a bath. Are you able to assist them?"
Sean Matthews said nothing.
