What matters.

He drove away with his wife who was sitting by his side and son who was at the back of the car.

They went to their hidden house,one of his houses which nobody knows about and also very far from the city. It was a long ride and they got there at night but they're used to it because Andrew had always made sure that nobody sees them when they enter or leave.

They got to their destination. A very big mansion standing gracefully welcomed them with its extreme bright and beautiful light that shines brightly around every corner of the building.

The house was huge with tight security, Andrew purposely built the house very far away from where people will notice and be curious about it. He needed to protect his family.

The mansion has a great and elegant architecture that makes it stand out and looks like heaven. The grand entrance to the lush garden and the large swimming pool actually will make anyone want to live in that type of mansion. It was a dream come true!.

It also has different rooms which were decorated and painted to each person's taste and the rest of the rooms were left untouched but were also tidy and decorated.

They loved this particular house because it made them feel like they're in heaven. The marble floor,the cute and big chandelier, the luxurious furnishings and art paints hung on all walls gave the rooms its beautification.

But what they seem to enjoy the most is the private cinema room and a mini bar house in the mansion. They have fun in their little way with no distractions or discomfort.

They settled in and went to their various rooms.

Morning came and they were prepared to achieve all the plans they made to spend time together as a family. The first thing on their list was to bake a cake but they included that Andrew will be the one to bake it.

"This is not going to be easy,I haven't baked anything in my entire existence, Maria" he gave her a pleading look.

"Well…if you don't try you won't know whether or not you can" she said softly also giving a pleading look.

Benjamin sat down on one of the couches in the sitting room playing games with his phone and watched his parents as they talked.

"Don't worry dad,you can do it. We will help you out" he said reassuring his dad.

"Okay son,thanks" Andrew replied to him.

"Now let's do it!, common Jamin. Let's help him out" Maria said laughing.

They all gathered in the kitchen to bake cake. Andrew brought out the bowl and poured the available ingredients.

He poured the flour in the bowl and added sugar. He mixed them thoroughly until the mixture turned into a pale yellow colour and light,fluffy texture, then he proceeded to add all other ingredients (yeast,baking powder,baking soda) etc.

After so many struggles with the measuring cups,they didn't know the exact amount they were supposed to add. Maria finally agreed to measure and add the other ingredients, they added it and poured it in a cake pan. They covered it with a cake pan and put it in the oven to bake.

While waiting for the cake to bake,they decided to make some fresh fruit juice. Maria cut out some watermelon and added some raspberries to blend.

She blended it and poured each person's own in a different covered cup and put it in the freezer to get cold while the cake baked.

Alex was snoring and still deeply asleep in her bed that morning because she didn't get enough sleep at night.

She kept thinking about who the woman she saw in his car was and what relationship they had. She also thought of why he needed a fake family, which type of contract he was securing and most of all,why her.

Though she knew why it was her because he never walked up to her to ask her to be his fake family. She walked into his office to take the position. She blamed herself but most of all she didn't understand why she kept on thinking about this man.

What was happening to her and why she's so interested in a person that doesn't care about her. Though she didn't understand what was going on,was she liking this man? She was confused and also scared because she knew Andrew wouldn't go for a girl like her and he already made it clear from the beginning that this was strictly business. No feelings attached.

Alex was scared yet curious.

Door knock*

"Hey Alex,food is ready" Angel knocked on her door to inform her that food was ready but didn't know Alex was still fast asleep. She left immediately after informing her without waiting for response, thinking she heard her.

But after she dished her food and waited for her to come downstairs for breakfast. She realised Alex might have not heard her so she went back upstairs leaving Dan alone at the dinning to continue eating.

"Alex!" She yelled,banging on her door.

Alex, who was in a deep sleep, instantly woke up at the sound of the loud noise on her door.

She opened the door and Angel repeated herself but Alex requested that her food be brought into her room and Angel nodded.

Angel brought her food,she ate and went back to sleep.

After what seemed like forever. The cake Andrew baked was finally ready and Maria served it with the fruit juice she made earlier.

"Hmm,this is good dad," Benjamin said, appreciating his dad's good work.

"Thanks son" he replied like a proud dad.

Maria watched them both and smiled.

"We should do this often," she said with a smile.

Andrew and Benjamin both nodded which means they both agreed to Maria's suggestion.

"What's our next plan for the day?" Andrew asked.
