Chapter 13

Subconsciously, Anastasia cracked a smile. She shook her head and turned away, blushing hard.

Anastasia turned to him. "Did I ruin your suit?" No matter how Williams loved her, he hated it when she drooled or snored around him. With her exhausted state of mind, she knew she couldn't help it.

Jamie glanced at the material covering his shoulder blade. He shook his head lightly. "Even if you did, you don't have to worry. I won't repeat my suits,"

Anastasia raised a brow at him. "Brag," she rolled her eyes. "You would have woken me up," she added when she realized they were in his yard.

The tiny smile and lightness in her voice made him smile harder, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You were exhausted. I didn't want to disturb you."

Anastasia's face grew hotter as she struggled to sit up, but Jamie's grip remained gentle yet firm. "You should have woken me," she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.
