Killing Intent
Everything happened so fast!
Dominique just felt his body being thrown out when he got hit by the speeding car. In just a blink of an eye, he felt like his life suddenly flashed in his mind.
'Am I going to die?' Dominique thought when his body landed on the ground.
With his remaining consciousness, Dominique turned in the direction where Aaron and Athena were sitting when he left them.
He even heard their voices calling his name.
Athena: "Dom!"
Aaron: "Uncle Dom!"
The two were shocked beyond belief after witnessing the scene. Dominique was hit by the car and fell to the ground. His body was like a piece of paper that was thrown away. But the resounding impact echoed in the scene.
As if his body had a mind of his own, Aaron jumped off the bench and ran toward Dominique's spot.
"Aaron! Wait!" Athena screamed in horror as she stood up, chasing after him.
