TRUST ME

"But we can't leave them hanging their untill the authorities come. It will be too late." One gentleman there said with concern.

Zeva nodded in agreement and said, "Yes! We have to help them ourselves."

She and the other few men hurriedly ran over to the cliff. The barrier had broken down.

And the man was there fighting for the his and the life of his close ones.

Zeva looked down and saw that the little kid's hand was slipping away from her father's grip. And she panicked looking at that.

Looking around, she widened her eyes realising something. Then looking at the men there she said to them, "Please open the door gently, and hold on his legs and lower body securely so that he himself doesn't slip off the car. Quick!"

The men blinked for a moment, looking at each other, before nodding their heads. It was indeed a good idea.

They got on their work, meanwhile, Zeva ran to her motorbike, and started searching something in the packet she brought from the convenience store.

Then she took out a bedsheet with a Pokemon print. This she had brought just today tlfor her bed. But never mind, it will be used for a more nobler purpose.

She then unfolded the nicely packed sheets, and then biting at the very end of the middle portion of the fabric, she then tore off the cloth into a thinner piece.

Then she hurriedly ran off to the accident place.

Tying up one end of the sheet and twisted the sheet into a hard piece of cloth. She then threw the roll of sheet down the slope near to the little child.

The little kid had tears all over her face, as she cried and weeped non stop. "Papa! Papa... I will fall... Wuu...wuu..."

The lady to cried, as she tried to comfort her daughter saying, "No.. Yumi, everything will be fine. Trust papa, okay. He will save us. We will be fine again."

Tears fell from the man's eyes like waterfall. He had never felt anymore useless in his entire life. What type of man he was, that could not even save his own daughter and wife?! He tried to hold his daughter's hand more tightly, but she kept on slipping more and more, because of their sweaty hands.

"Dear! Listen to me!" Zeva called out for the little girl. The little girl was shaking in fear, as she tried looking up with utmost panic.

"See, look at that rope. Come on, try to hold it with your other hand." Zeva tried to persuade the little girl to hold on to the sheet.

The kid, Yumi was afraid and scared. She shook her head and said in a shaky voice, "W- what if I fall?"

Zeva too shook her head and said, "Who said you will fall? You are not going to fall, okay. Trust elder sister. "

The little girl looked at her with tear stricken face. Her mother was also afraid, but when she saw that they had no other option and that idea could save her daughter.

"Yumi dear, listen to big sister. And do what she says. She is helping us. "

On hearing her mother say that, Yumi tried catching the sheet rope with shaky hands.

When she finally caught the rope successfully, Zeva heaved in releif. And then she instructed her, "Now let your father's hand go, dear."

And when little Yumi heard it, her eyes widened and she at once shook her head in fear and denial.

"No! No! I will fall down if I let go Papa's hand!" Yumi said in denial.

"You won't really. You won't." Zeva reassured the little child. She could very well understand how difficult it is for a little kid to let go of her father's hand in this situation and trust a complete stanger.

But there was nothing else to be done. As it was their only option. Atlast finally, the little girl let go of her father's hand and gripped the sheet tightly. While Zeva caught the other end and tried pulling the little girl up.

The man when he saw that his daughter was okay there, he gripped on his wife's hand more tightly.

At one side, Zeva pulled the baby up. As it was a little child she was able to do it on her own. And on the other side, the man pulled his wife up, which the other men behind assisted him.

The man was able to pull up his wife first with the help of others. And they hurriedly got off and away from the car.

Meanwhile, Zeva had also almost pulled the baby up. But that very second, as the car was very dangerously struck on the edge of the cliff, the sudden loss of weight caused disbalance and with a loud sound the car slipped off the cliff.

And that was not all. Before the people could get over that, Zeva noticed the ground on where she was standing, that was the very edge and very next to where the car was, it got lossend and had turned dangerously sloppy because of the momentum!

Before anything else, she pulled the little girl up completely and pushed her far away the next second.

But, alas! Zeva herself couldn't get the time to get away from there. And the ground under her slipped.

And she fell into the ever deep cliff. Where who knows on what one would fall.
