GROWING UP IS CRUCIAL

Zeva bit her tongue and waved both her hands and said with a fake, awkward laugh, "Alright. Alright. Apologies. Please continue."

Lia rolled her eyes and said, "You humans are so short minded. Always thinking like the universe revolves around you and you only! The Almighty hasn't created you alone. And you are not His only favourite, alright! There are other worlds, planets and dimensions around in the universe, you get it. "

On getting lectured, Zeva zipped up her lips. This little baby has some serious problems with us, humans. Zeva comcluded in her mind.

"So where was I? Oh- yes!" Lia poundered for a brief second, with her small index finger on her fluffy cheeks, before she remembered.

"Yes, so what I was saying. Like how you humans have everything easy, and God has sorted out your aging process and all. It is not the same for us people in the planet of Solara.

There we need to work had to grow up!

The thing is, when we are young, T-that is this prase of our lives. " Lia said pointing at her own self. "We are sent out of our planet, to planets like Earth and a few others like Earth. There we allot them tasks accordingly to their fates and destinies, and help them in fulfilling them.

When the person is able to complete all the tasks, he is a happy and successful person in his planet with some powers. While, we can go back to our planet. Then our growth is unlocked, and we can retain our bodies aging process according to our real age. Grow up, become pretty, get married, have babies, etc...." Lia said the last line with dream filled eyes. As if it is one of her life's major goal to get married and have babies.

Zeva tsked as she shook her head and said, "You kids.... Do you know something that there is no fun in growing up and becoming an adult. It is just better to stay a kid. If I could, I would prefer not to grow up at all."

Lia looked up at her like she was the most dumb person she had even seen in her life. "Are you in some delusional filled world. Now tell me, how in the world is staying a kid forever a good thing?"

Lia asked with narrowed eyes.

This time, Zeva too geared up to have a good debate with the little kid. She has roasted her enough!

"How is it not good enough?! Staying a kid means you don't have to worry about the cruel worldly affairs. All you need to do is eat, sleep, play, and have lovey cuddles with your parents...." Zeva said that with a sweet smile. As she said that, she remembered her childhood memories with her parents when they were alive that was filled with love and happiness.

"Are you seriously dumb or what?" Lia said with a disappointed sneer. And said, "Like I said, as you humans have got all the things sorted out, that's why you take them for granted.

And when I say, our growth is unlocked, that means, it will be unlocked only after we help the hosts complete 1/5 th of the tasks, that is 20 tasks. And then what the real twists comes. We will only be able to live upto that many number of years, that we can help our hosts complete tasks. Suppose, you will be able to complete 30 tasks. And then you failed, then I will live in solara for 30 years and then die. Which I don't at all want. But humans like you are stupid. Then don't really are able to complete all of the tasks normally."

Hearing her, Zeva couldn't do anything just purse her lips and gritt her teeth internally. This narcissistic kid! Ever since she is here, she is not missing out on any chance to degrade her!

But then again, Zeva could not say anything as whatever it is, it is indeed making sense.

"Also, if we will not be able to help host complete even the first twenty years, then our body age will stuck at this and it won't grow till we reach the twentieth year of our life. And then we would die."

Lia then took a breath and said, "So, staying kid is nowhere good. Unlocking our age, and living long is the sign of our capabilities in our planet. If we don't live enough, it either means that you made a wrong decision choosing the wrong person, and that you weren't capable enough to help them.

And if you are not even able to unlock your aging process, that is the 20 task completion, then you will be forever looked down upon by people there. So growing up is crucial there. There is nothing good in remaining a kid forever. "

Zeva was taken aback slightly, when she heard Lia. And slowly, she started to understand Lia's situation.

In her planet, completing the task, and unlocking the aging process and living for long, equals to someone on Earth being capable of earning. If you are not able to earn and pay your own bills, then you are useless.

Her planet was so complicated and calculated. Even a wrong step can cost her a lot.
