I ran my hands down my face and just tried to remember on how to breathe. My head was spinning but I had promised Benedito I would try my best to understand what he was telling me. I could tell it was taking a lot out of him for him to tell me everything.
I let out a deep sigh to calm myself before lifted my hands from my face. The way he looked at me showed me the panic he was feeling inside. His eyes constantly scanned my face and I could see slight shame in his eyes.
Therefore to calm us both down I took his hand in mine and nodded, "You can continue."
"Are you sure Bobby? Would you like some water?" Dita, a whole different woman to who I had met a year and a half ago, offered me a bottle of water.
"No thank you, I'm okay," I gave her a shaky smile, "Please continue."
