ARIANNE POV
Nyana turned to look at me with a smile on her face. I bet she was feeling really proud of herself right now for taking the cowardly way out. She was really going to use an entire army to fight with me? She must be delusional than I thought even more so if she thinks I'm terrified of her and her little army.
"You never learn, do you?" I said, my voice steady, my smile sharp. "I don't know if it's me or you, but it seems ever since you started using a human body, you've gotten a little slow, mother."
Nyana's eyes flared with contempt, her dark pupils swirling like black holes ready to consume. "We will see if you can still talk after this," she hissed, raising her hand. "Attack!"
The undead surged forward as one, a wave of rotting flesh and rusted metal moving with unnatural speed.
"ARIANNE RUN!" A voice yelled, probably from one of my family.
