Synopsis
Hazel's eyes widened in disbelief. "You want my kidney for her?" she asked, her voice trembling.
"And an abortion," he demanded, his deep voice filled with disgust. "I don't want a child born from you. I know how vicious you are."
Hazel's eyes filled with tears. "What did I even do?" she cried. In three years of marriage, he had never loved her. So why had he agreed to marry her?
After just a month of their marriage, his first love had returned, and he hadn't hesitated to choose her in every situation.
"It's because of you that Ella and I can't be together," he sneered, pinching her chin harshly before throwing her aside, leaving red marks on her skin.
Her father's dying wish had been for his daughter Hazel to marry his friend's son, Lan. Hazel didn't know that Lan already had someone else in his heart. In return for the marriage, her father had promised to name his property under Lan's name.
Lan had agreed to the marriage because of this, but he couldn't be with his first love, Ella, and he resented Hazel for it.
